  1. Tepper is a big picture guy. If he really thinks, for some reason, that this is a 5 year process (as he's said numerous times) and that Rhule is still the right guy for this team then none of those short term issues will get in the way. We don't know what he really thinks but it would not surprise me one bit to see him stick it out with Rhule. No amount of empty seats or media/fan pressure will influence force his decision. Maybe it'll factor in, but again as we've seen so far, Tepper doesn't seem to give a fug about any of that and thinks he's a genius and does things his own way, no matter how poor the results so far.
  2. I don't think it will be tough for Tepper to keep Rhule all year or even into next year regardless of any of that, to be honest. Tepper's "I don't give a fug" attitude about what people think is very apparent. He does things his own way. Which seems to be horribly wrong, but I don't think Tepper will feel any pressure to make a move. I really do think Rhule gets the entire season regardless. Only way he gets fired early is if we're clearly a disaster and mathematically eliminated and Tepper wants to get a head start on the search for the next HC. Can't at all see Rhule getting fired in the first 12 weeks or so, would be very late in the season if at all.
  3. I think Rhule gets the entire year regardless. Maybe he gets fired once we're eliminated from the playoffs mathematically but not before then.
  4. Definitely a fair point and concern, but at the end of the day if we're bottom dwellers, Melo is gonna bolt. If not Miles we need some way to drastically improve this team to get to be at the very least a consistent playoff team. And at some point we'll have to elevate from there to winning some series'. Miles' shitshow situation is absolutely brutal for the team but I'm just not sure we have any other options than to consider keeping him as some of the storm blows over (with stipulations and of course will need significant PR work). Or knocking our drafts out of the park and player development, on the sooner side. But with Clifford back as HC, and early returns on some of our recent picks, I have very little confidence in that.
  5. I did not remember that we got the kick off with just 1 second on the play clock. Such an incredible play. Man that 2018 season was looking so amazing until Pittsburgh. ughh
  6. If Watson can get the biggest fully guaranteed contract ever then Bridges will probably play in the NBA again. I believe we still have his rights so would be a question of whether we'd ever welcome him back or not. My guess honestly is MJ says fug it and we keep him. As a fan who doesn't want to lose Melo, I would accept it.
  7. Agree. Roster and Baker are plenty good enough to make the playoffs. McVay would have this team winning the division and in the NFCCG in my opinion.
  8. Misery loves company Scot, Panthers fan with Dallas fan makes sense to me
  9. Reminds me of Terron Armstead going up against Hardy his rookie year. Hardy made that dude look like a high schooler out there. Definitely need to give Icky time, Armstead was a top 5 LT in his 2nd year.
  10. Jim Harbaugh Sean Payton HATE them both, but will welcome either with open arms as I'm 99% sure either of them could get this team with Baker back to contention and our first back to back winning seasons/sustained success. I'm sick of losing, enough nice likeable guys. Hire the biggest piece of poo out there like Payton and I don't care as long as we win.
  11. I disagree that any of these 4 games are difficult. Other than Murray none of these teams have QBs better than Brissett and the rest of their rosters are not as good as the Browns. That said I don't have much hope of winning these games the way we embarrassed ourselves yesterday.
  12. Just got around to finishing the game. I know it’s only week 1 but I think this is the most embarrassed I’ve ever been as a Panthers fan. fug Tepper and his fuging losers he’s hired to run this poo team. At least under JR and Hurney we’d have spurts of relevance.
  13. Baker goes off for 4 TDs and 300 yards with no turnovers. Panthers win 31-13.
  14. Maybe. But Boze is also coming off a high ankle sprain. Yes he's been back at practice and seems close to healthy, but big O linemen and high ankle sprains don't go well together. I think we're taking our time with him, and wisely.
  15. Boze would be the guy if not for his injury. I think it'll be 1-2 games, and not even necessarily because of Elf struggles. Easy to make a change and say Boze wasn't quite ready to start week 1 coming off the injury.
  16. RE Dorsey, give it time before evaluating him as an OC, no film on him at all. I’m not sold on him and he’s got an insane amount of talent to work with so he should be having significant success.
  17. Yeah I’ve had that happen too, it’s annoying as hell. Usually when I fall asleep on the couch inadvertently
  18. The RB was right there I believe
  19. I took that into account with my statement…
  20. I can’t imagine playing with constant numbness. I hate being numb, maybe you just get used to it but still. Not sure if you follow tennis at all but one of the all time greats Rafa Nadal played and won a few major tournaments this year with a completely numb foot he couldn’t feel at all. Completely insane what some of these guys play through.
  21. I’d kill to have him in Panthers blue but I think Allen is a bit overrated. Not quite in the top tier that guys like Mahomes and Rodgers are in, just below them.
  22. And lol Stafford. What a sloppy mess of a game
  23. Not a great throw but that’s the receiver’s fault
  24. This is gonna be a shootout ain’t it
