  1. Well, their OT situation was not an issue for them at all last year and they didn't lose their starting tackle to retirement until after they waived Martin. He was just another backup to them when they waived him. And another thing to consider is the 49ers front office basically trying to get rid of everybody who was associated with Harbaugh. Martin was a Harbaugh guy all through. I'm not sold on our tackles either, but as of right now Martin is a backup for us, and he is definitely better than what we had last year.
  2. Blatt's gameplan has been outstanding these entire Finals.
  3. Exactly my point. If he had Isiah Thomas' mental toughness he would be the best ever in my eyes. But he's a whiny bitch with absolutely no mental toughness at all. LeBron gets a cramp... Misses the 4th quarter of a must win game against the Spurs. Isiah Thomas sprains his ankle to the point where he can't put any weight on it... Scores an NBA Finals record 25 points in the 3rd quarter and dominates Magic Johnson for much of the game while hopping around and hobbling on one leg. LeBron is probably the most talented and physically gifted player in NBA history, and maybe even of any sport. But he's a mental midget and I would never ever have him on my team if I were runnings things.
  4. The Pistons did 1000x the damage to Jordan in a game than what happened on that play and LeBron's squirming on the ground like a complete bitch. And he's like twice Jordan's size. Laimbeer knocked guys on their ass 10x as hard as that. LeBron wouldn't have lasted half a game against the Bad Boys Pistons. Probably not even a quarter.
  5. In the process of flopping and exaggerating the foul, LeBaby hits his head on a camera!!!! That's fuging hilarious.
  6. I appreciate your input and I'll take it into consideration.
  7. I hardly think he would feel disrespected by some random fan on a Panthers message board calling him a nickname that his own teammates use. Especially when that individual is possibly his biggest supporter in the entire fan base. If I were to meet him, I'd address him as Mr. Brown or Corey or whatever the hell he prefers. But he'll always be "Philly" to me when I see him play and when I talk about him on the field. Already imprinted in my brain.
  8. Much appreciated. Is there any chance Philly impresses enough (or Funchess disappoints enough) that he starts out the year as #2 on the depth chart? Many have already penned in Funchess as the week 1 starter opposite KB, which I hope is the case, but I'm not 100% sure it's a given. Obviously it's just non-contact OTAs, but I'm just curious.
  9. Brown is #4, Ginn #5. Last spot up for grabs, and honestly I'm pulling for Hill. But I just want the best guy there. If it's Bersin then great, I like the guy as a receiver.
  10. For some it's not worth the long term health risk. I'd rather be healthy than wealthy, and they've already made enough money to make a living off of, so whatever they feel is best is completely reasonable. And you say "doing something you love...." I can tell you for certain if they're retiring that young, they don't love playing the game.
  11. Seems to me like it'll be Fozzy vs. Todman. I really really love the Foz, but Todman was an upper echelon kick returner, so if he can show enough to be a solid change of pace I think I'd rather keep him. That's assuming CAP is a lock. I'd rather somehow get him to the PS than cut one of Fozzy or Todman. No way Fozzy would make it to our PS, in my opinion.
  12. I've been saying Philly is a lock for the roster, and predicting he'd end up with the 3rd most catches since the season ended, and people called me a fool.
  13. People acting like LeBron is the only player on the Cavs. Mozgov and Thompson played lights out and Smith and Shumpert were playing great D and hitting their shots, not to even mention Delly's defense which is better than Kyrie's by far. Man you guys are just sad, pitiful people.
  14. LeChoke strikes again, what a surprise.
  15. There aren't 2 definite roster spots for the position. We have so much talent at WR now we might want to keep 6 so someone's got to go somewhere else. If Ward can truly be a beast lead-blocking FB, and Tolbert continues to be ineffective (and he was last season) then we should only keep him. I don't see any reason to keep Brockel, to be honest. All this is assuming that Ward is actually any good though. We haven't seen him in pads so this could possibly end up not being a debate at all.
  16. There's no correlation whatsoever. And look at how much each is getting paid.
  17. "11's on the field, watch the bubble screen."
