  1. Sign a FA and draft one at 39. Could get another in the 3rd. I want them to build an offense and not give up the farm for other teams cast offs. We will have plenty of cap space to go get a #1 next year. I'm all for being patient
  2. The difference is salary. One is not going to ask to be paid 20 mil
  3. Red meat for the Chicago fans. Get over yourself. You were a good WR but not a true #1 that takes over a game. Wish you were still here, but its a business.
  4. I want nothing to do with Young. If you want to see endless balls being batted down like Mayfield, he's your man. Let Houston have him. I want CJ. He's just too small
  5. I'm not happy with this at all. He needs to be cut and we draft a TE. Are we going to keep 4 TE if we draft one? Not a fan of this move
  6. The WR FA market wasn't great and now we are down to scraps. I've loved the overall plan so far, but WR is a concern at this point. Chalk? Thiesen? A trade?
  7. 2 WR, another RB, a LB and DE and we have set ourselves up for a draft for QB, TE, RB and WR. This bunch had a plan and so far with the cap restraints have made us a better team. We are in a good position to go into next year
  8. Well if so, he wanted more than we offered. He had an offer and must think he can do better. We signed a 3 down back and upgraded
  9. Would be perfect in KC and a much better chance to get a ring in the next couple of years.
  10. If you don't have an Elite QB, you go nowhere. We had CMC, DJ, etc and we're still drafting top 10. Hated to give up DJ, but we were going nowhere without an Alpha at QB.
  11. Yes, they know. But if they can convince Houston to make a trade to get their #33, then this "uncertainty" has worked.
  12. Right now, we have a bottom 5 WR core, a bottom 5 RB core, a TE group in the bottom half and an unsettled QB situation. We are in a rebuild
  13. I like this signing. He easily becomes the best TE on the roster and was affordable. Some of yall act like we still have 50 million dollars in cap space. We don't and still need to add a RB and WR at the very least. We are rebuilding, not reloading.
  14. I consider it being passionate about the team. None of our arguments are going to change the selection, but after watching losing football for years, fans are now passionate about the selection. I favor Stround and admit, if we draft Young, I'll show my displeasure.
  15. That's true, but it's because the stakes are huge. Make the wrong selection and we have hamstrung ourselves for 3 to 5 years.
  16. The ball placement is what sets him apart and he is elite with it. Guys are catching it in stride not waiting for it or having to adjust.
  17. Besides being a psychotic coach killing cancer, nothing. Hard pass
  18. Not dramatic, just can't think past the present day. Dalton is a great pick up. Smart, great work ethic, excellent team guy. He is perfect to help teach our Rookie the right way. And he is cheap. Great signing
  19. Quiet today. I was expecting a couple of signings at least
  20. So where are we at numbers wise after the signings today? I wouldn't mind getting Hurst at TE. We simply don't have the cap space for one of the top 2. Would also take a shot at Theilan as well.
  21. There is no way you watch the throws and ball placement and think we should draft Young. Hope he has a good career, in Houston
  22. I dont want any more trades for players right now. We need our draft pics and only want to use our pics to move up or down for other pics. If we need guys use free agency, but don't hamstring the future. If we need to take a couple of years to rebuild, do it but stop mortgaging the future
