    Agreed, and not because I think he will set the world on fire. There is a decent chance that we will have competent QB play, which is something we haven’t seen in awhile.

    It appears that the Panthers made many improvements to the team this offseason, but the improvement needs to show up on the field. This is a pivotal year for many people associated with the franchise.

    He has talent. The Panthers will be able to live with him and his moods/attitude if he wins. If not, they will move on quickly.

    I have one of each color for Keyshawn Johnson. I was so excited when he signed and then he was only a Panther for 1 year. I still hear about that from my wife.

    They spent all offseason trying to replace Darnold. It's Baker's job to lose.

    Corrall will get his shot next year UNLESS he comes out looking great in camp. Either way, his time is coming.

    That offense didn't beat us. Von Miller did.

    Exactly right. If our offense hangs onto the ball and scores points, the defense automatically improves. Besides the points you made, the defense does not get as worn out from being on the field all day.

    Most rankings of the NFCS QBs have Mayfield 2nd in the Division. Not a major feat, mind you.

    Can you imagine the attitude we would get from Baker if he has a good season and we tag him? Hopefully it doesn’t come to that. Hopefully he is thankful for a fresh start and keeps a good attitude.
