  1. I’m still waiting for Burns or Brown to make one big third down play just one time in their careers
  2. Hubbard at 34 yards on 5 carries so far. I’m genuinely curious, do Sanders five longest runs of the season total 34 yards?
  3. I’m not about to defend Tepper, but this idea that Tepper “chose” Bryce just feels insane to me. Just like a far out conspiracy theory people are using to validate their preconceived opinions about this owner. I have a long list of grievances with Tepper, but he’s said more than once he leaves drafting/free agency up to his football guys. I remember that look into the war room after the 2021 draft we even got league-wide praise for how clean our process appeared. Tepper was in the building but it seemed evident he stayed out of the way when we were on the clock. And there were plenty of rumors that he would have liked Justin Fields but ultimately left the decision up to his GM/coach. Our best writers did a great job of covering the QB selection process this past spring, and not once did any of them ever suggest that this would ultimately be Tepper’s decision. There are loads of articles about how we scouted all of these quarterbacks and ultimately landed on Bryce. Spoiler: None of them at the time ever said it was because it was the owners choice. I think McCown definitely wanted Stroud, but Reich and Fitt were in unison that Bryce was QB1. We’re just trying to find excuses as to why we are 0-5 and potentially selected the wrong quarterback.
  4. You honestly think our offense is capable of doing/scheming anything even remotely interesting right now?
  5. 45-14 Also, as of a few hours ago this line was 10.5 in Vegas. Feels incredibly low, I'm sure there will be some adjustment so if you see that I'd go ahead and take it.
  6. I want Fitterer gone because someone has to pay for this I just worry our prospective candidates will be horrid. I say let this season ride out, without serious improvement you move on from Reich and Fitterer then let your new GM hire the coach of his choice. This timeline we’ve been on of having asynchronous HC/GM hires might feel like a small problem but it’s something you can easily fix. Next regime has to be on the same page from the start.
  7. What’s wild is you ask about core pieces, I’m truly not sure that we have any bonafide core guys. You obviously hope Bryce is, but we’ve seen nothing to suggest so far that he’s our franchise guy. Could he be? Of course! But you are right when you say we are stuck with him for at least next year but honestly probably at least two more years. And I’m far from out on him I still absolutely think he can be a quality starter. But this roster is brutal. I’d trade anyone for the right price. Even when the Browns went on that playoff drought of like 15-20 years their roster generally had a star or two. Joe Thomas, etc. We have no one anywhere near that quality on our team. This is an absolute mess. I think right now we have to figure out if Bryce can be a franchise QB. You need to know that answer sooner rather than later, because if the answer is no the last thing you want is to extend an already failed experiment. We have to somewhere put a good core around him in the next 12 months. Let next year really be his prove it year. But to do that we need serious upgrades on the OL and at WR. That has to be the priority right now. Ideally we see serious improvement in the next 15 months out of Bryce and then can focus on building the rest of the roster. If he’s bad though we should be bad enough to draft another QB by 2026 or so. I honestly don’t see another path forwards right now.
  8. I get a lot of this is garbage time production, and it's very incremental, but Bryce has gotten better week by week. In no way am I saying he's anywhere close to being good
  9. One team has an all time motivator at coach who has harnessed the blue chip, junkyard dog mentality of the city he embraced to build a legitimate contender that plays exciting, but disciplined football on both sides of the ball. The other team is the most vanilla organization in the league that has zero identity and has a straight up depressing roster. Injuries aside, the Lions will remember what we did to them last December and they’ll be motivated. 37-16 Lions
  10. That's the thing. If we canned Reich but had no obvious replacement on staff it's a bit more murky. But we have a young up and comer on our staff that was getting serious HC interviews a few months ago. I'm totally cool with the idea of canning Reich and promoting EE. Ideally we see dramatic change, he becomes the guy and we can build momentum for next season. Imo, there's no such thing as an overreaction right now. We were a 7 win team a year ago and we're currently on pace to be one of the worst teams the sport has ever seen. These are purely facts.
  11. Well yeah when he got hurt that doesn't count
  12. For years losers on this forum tried to say Cam was actually holding the team back because of his low comp %. Maybe those same mouth breathers will finally realize it's 2023 and that comp % is close to a meaningless stat
  13. And 7-9 when throwing 10+ yards down the field. What in the absolute fug is Frank doing?
  14. Half of these tackles are when he's tackling someone from behind because they've already shot past the LOS Not saying he isn't good but he hasn't come anywhere close to living up to his draft status
  15. Wasn't he drafted in the top 7 because of his presence in the interior? Why is our run defense still so porous every single year? That's a significant investment into a player
  16. Besides the fumble he was encouraging today. I’ll say he even looked good when we were going up tempo and throwing on early downs. The first semblance I’ve seen of a rhythm from our offense this year
  17. Bryce has legitimately looked good when we’ve opened things up and let him throw on early downs. We’re fuging 0-3 and they’re still calling plays like it’s the first preseason game man what the fug do we have to lose
  18. Don't get me wrong I have plenty of beef with him, but right now I'm not even too mad at him specifically? The Rhule hire was a disaster. He knows, you know it. We all know it. But it's not like he doubled down and made the same mistake again. Instead of hiring an unknown, this time around he tried to play it safe by hiring a guy that had like 5 winning seasons in 6 years at his previous post. While being one of the most respected and universally loved coaches in the league. The complete inverse of Rhule. He showed a clear willingness to learn from his mistakes and hired who we thought would at least be a solid coach while surrounding said coach with an all star cast of assistants. We all loved these moves. It's like a curse has been placed on the franchise because I'm at a loss for how and why things look so bad right now. This same group basically went 7-10 last year and now we clearly look like the leagues worst team except maybe the Bears. What happened? Like, if Tepper had gone from Rhule to some other unknown wildcard coach I'd be way more angry. But that's not what he did. I'm at a complete loss for what is happening right now and why it's happening.
  19. I didn’t pay that much but I also made a lifelong dream come true when buying PSLs a few years ago. Now it just feels like a burden to even keep going. I have zero clue how I’ll find the motivation to go next week. This is absolutely pathetic
  20. There isn’t one positive. Cams rookie year we started out losing but they were fun losses. We got highlight reel plays every week and knew the future was bright. there isn’t one bright spot on this team. We’re bad on both sides of the ball. Cardinals are looking way better with a much worse roster
  21. Not taking that Burns deal will be looked back on as one of the worst decisions in franchise history. Imagine how different we would feel right now if we currently had a 2024 first and two 2025 firsts in the cupboard
