  1. Jabril Cox allows for more flexibility on D and puts us in a favorable position when negotiating with Reddick and facing cap savings by moving on from Shaq Thompson. Addressed weak spots at OL, CB, and TE. Upgrade (imo) at backup QB.
  2. Don’t sign anyone else and use that money to front load DJ Moore and Moton’s contracts. Move on to 2022 and secure a QB through free agency or draft.
  3. Speaking of bold not working out well.... Signing Bridgewater to his deal after he just found success with a rival was bold. Imagine if he had come in and proven he was our QB for the next 6+ years.
  4. I can’t believe Trubisky signed for less than 3 mil this year and it wasn’t with the Panthers.
  5. Idk, I’d offer them Bridgewater, a 5th, and Aquameni for him right now.
  6. We’ll see how many of the ‘Tepper sucks’ crowd is still howling in 2022 when we have lots of money to throw around, a new QB, and our young talent on D is ready to make a run. Anyone already throwing shade at Tepper who inherited a QB and cap that were not in ideal form is either ignorant about building a franchise or impatient. I’m thinking/hoping it’s mostly the latter.
  7. If you’re referring to the Charles Johnson tweet, I edited that out of my post after realizing it was from 2020. Still, knowing that Gurley wanted to be a Panther is a good sign he may sign a team-friendly deal. Especially coming off injury.
  8. Not sure. I’m assuming he clears medical. If so, I’d love it as long as it’s a super cheap deal to bring Gurley back close to home.
  9. Where it would fall on the ‘love it or hate it’ scale depends solely on price.
  10. I was definitely one of them and I’m here for the whoopin. I was certain he would sign for more than 5mil per and thought it would be more in the 8+ mil range. I was wrong. I put the Bills in the top 3 of strangest landing spots for Trubisky. Not sure the play here. He either doesn’t want the pressure of starting again or is angling for a bigger deal with more cap available next year. Like the Saints, I’m kicking the can down the road on my prediction of what deal he signs. Ha
  11. Glad to hear it. Doubt he makes it to UDFA land after that pro day.
  12. We’re lacking a size mismatch weapon in the red zone. Maybe this guy deserves a look....
  13. Far from side tit, but my neck hair game is strong atm. I never said we couldn’t do better than Mitch. We could do worse though which you seem to disagree with.
  14. I didn’t realize that posted. Thought I had deleted. I was going to say I think you’re off on what Trubisky will sign for this offseason. We shall see.
  15. I think you’re way off on lol. Tannehill played in the AFCCG year before last.
  16. Love you too, shnookums. Think about me in a few years when you wish we weren’t paying a QB 25-30% of our cap so we could resign young talent and acquire free agents.
  17. Because he wasn’t Mahomes or Watson and Nagy is a terrible offensive coordinator. He’s not perfect, but for the cheap contract he’ll likely sign, he’s about as good an option as we’ll have without selling the farm.
  18. Why wasn’t the defense carrying them to the playoffs when Foles was the QB?
  19. My opinion: -Trubisky was very green coming into the league -He was always going to play his best ball on his second contract due to that -He has ~10 more college + NFL starts in his career than ROOKIE Justin Herbert last year. -Look at his stats over the course of last year. He’s still improving which is a good sign. -Chicago sold out on defense and left little in the cupboard for Trubisky on O. -He’d be CHEAP and I’d bet a top 10-15 QB over the course of his next contract in the right situation.
  20. He literally led his team to the playoffs this year. Come up with something else.
