    What a terrible take. You probably complained endlessly about how bad the line was last year. Through free agency and the draft, we have a chance to finally make it decent, even above average. But no, geniuses like you would rather waste a top 10 pick on quarterbacks who normally wouldn’t be drafted before round 2. Brilliant.

    That’s fair. But we aren’t going to have a great QB next year regardless. Whether it’s Darnold or a rookie. The best thing we can do is sure up the left side of our line. Which, pretty much all Panthers fans agree, was as big of a reason we lost as any last season

    All that tells me is we are thinking QB at 6. Which would be a huge mistake with the OL talent available.

    Put me in the camp that if we draft a QB, the only way I’ll be happy about it is if we traded back. There’s a talent drop off after the first 8 or 9 picks, I would rather us grab Cross or Neal or the NC State tackle at 6. Run one more year with Sam or Cam, and then draft a rookie to put behind a stout OLine going into 23.

    Roll with Sam. Grab another linemen at 6. We will have this roster ready to compete after getting a new QB, draft preferably, and new head coach going into 2023.

    Our roster is without a question better than it was at the end of last season. As long as we draft a tackle in the first, I think the future here is actually pretty bright. We can figure out QB next year, let’s build up the rest of this roster for a post Brady NFC south dominance.

    I’ve spent basically the whole day refreshing this thread and we’ve gotten basically nothing. Panthers vs Saints, we all know how that usually goes. I still have hope. Still have hope.
