  1. He's good. I actually underrated him..I don't know where he's projected but I'd take him in the 4th... For an earlier pick my vote would be either Legette, Coleman ...or.... Maybe even 2 of the 3
  2. If I'm taking my wishlist to a mock draft then per pff: 33: Keon Coleman (WR)... Speaks for itself. 39: Malachi Corley (WR)... Explosion 65: Van Pran (C).. Corbett insurance/skill set to become a starter. 101: Jeremiah Trotter Jr (LB)...Going off potential. Good bloodline 141: Audric Estime or Allen (RB).... The powerback we lack 142: Jahiem Bell or Jared Wiley(TE)... Keon, Estime and Wiley/Bell 4th qtr in the redzone... that's work. 240: Austin Reed (QB)...Get Canales around him and let him learn. Why not take a late flyer. Only one reach which is what we normally do anyway. And after that draft, the offense should be fixed. It's on Bryce at that point.
  3. Well if we're hell bent on adding another WR before the draft... there are still a few out there.. I.e... Allen Robinson, Boyd, Gallup, Renfrow, Gage, Mecole, Thomas, Claypool, OBJ, Valdez-Scantling, Campbell, etc... Anyone of which would be an improvement over rookie Mingo. He should have sat for a few...I knew Mingo would take awhile when we was drafted but damn he was disappointing.
  4. Chinn for a year lol Burns CMC..somewhat DJ Moore Pretty much everyone we traded or let walk. Barno's a 9+ iirc... but I get your point. The last OT I remember seeing a 9+ on was Greg Little. We all know how that turned out... Bright side is, this guy is already proven(to an extent). Gives BC some competition and improves our depth.
  5. The offers: A 2025 First... Hell Yes. Thing is.... we have about a 10-30 percent chance of this scenario happening. The more probable option would resemble something like the Cards who traded #33 last year and got: #41, #72 and a '24 3rd from the Titans who took Levis at 33. **The trade included #33 and #81 for #41, #72 and a future 3rd** I'm not a fan of that haul. But being at 39 does give us some playroom.
  6. In the 2nd nah .... unless Keon falls out the first. Other than that Malachi Corley is the one for me.... I like Pearsall and Corley...esp Corppqley. I think Pearsall is closer to his ceiling. I a think we'll end up with a Legette when it's all said and done.
  7. DB hasn't even peaked yet... No way in hell. A.Robinson was one of the top Free Agents if not #1 last offseason. Put him back with Evero and watch him regain form...and next to Brown with Jewell(underrated signing) behind him..smh = no more 15+ run gashes repeatedly every game. Brown is going nowhere.
  8. Yea I'ma look at this as a YGM pass rush upgrade... get Clowney and Fuller and this defense could be better than expected. Or ink Fuller and draft Chop. Not finished yet by far but better than expected as a whole ... esp with our cap and situation. And this is the first wave...early second. Yea Morgan is putting in work.
  9. Fix the holes they created and address the obvious. Center with starting experience...ie Connor Williams 2 Edge Rushers to play opposite each other... hell I don't care if you bring back Efe Obada ...just get some bodies in there. Add another ilb and corner for depth atleast. Sign Jordan Fuller and Franklin Grab 2 Wr's in the draft(this is the draft for that) ... target Wiley from TCU at TE late in the draft. Mind you, all of this can be done. Probably won't but very possible.
  10. Grab Clowney or Young and grab Chop Robinson at 33. Xavier Leggette at 39. Brown-Tuttle-Robinson Chop-Jewell-Thompson-Clowney Vs. Brown-Tuttle-Williams Burns-Kamu-Luvu-Houston Run defense upgraded...a drop off in pass rush but we'd still get pressure.
  11. Hunt, Lewis, Ekwonu and Moton combo is a serious wall. The left side could still be exploited with speed but we're in much better shape than last year. Zavala wasn't ready. My only doubt with this line is Corbett at C. Idunno how I feel about that outside of an emergency situation. + he's coming off injury for the 2nd year. I do think he'd be a helluva backup guard though. That said, Morse is off the market but Conor Williams is still avialable, I think. He already has chemistry w/ Hunt and both of em have experience with a shorter QB.
  12. Technically isn't Jordan Matthew's still on the team???
  13. Yea im just not excited. Basically our 3rd string players from last preseason. Vilain though... I gotta do my homework on 'em. Silver lining is ...despite the early returns I know damn well by the start of the season we'll be somewhat competitive at the position.
  14. Haynes is a FA I think.. DJ Johnson is all that is left.
  15. "One of the perks of signing on as Head Coach was not having to worry about the defense" Well I hope Dan didn't make these moves without a plan in place. Either that or Canales is planning on putting up 40+ everyweek... Granted this offseason is far from complete but as of right now counting our own fa's it looks like: Brown-Tuttle-(??) (??)-Shaq-(??)-(??) Horn-Hill Woods - (??) The optimist in me says we'll find a way to field something competitive. I'd think you'd want to keep that defense intact as much as possible especially if we're planning on being such a run heavy team. That D wasn't the reason we only won 2 games. I'm not saying resign every player but damn that Luvu move hurts. Yea we've gotta have a helluva plan coming up from this point to training camp.
  16. Evero is somewhere punching a wall... In a week ...he's lost 4 of his 11 starters... 3 ex team Captains at that. Yea.... this isn't over... we HAVE to have some moves coming down the pipeline. Smdh... There were only 2 players on this defense that you don't let walk..and we just let 1.
  17. Restructure??? How does he still have a spot? Sullivan intrigues me in the passing game and Tremble just needs more targets imo. I thought we were going all in on "the dawgs"... Morgan must have talking to talk. Ian Thomas might be one of the softest TE's I ever remember seeing. Literally rare that he gets a first down when he has to run through contact....I wouldn't even put money on him vs a place kicker on a one on one drill. Maybe I'm exaggerating since they view him as such a great blocker. Even from a mental standpoint, he doesn't strike me as the "hate to lose" type of player. But hopefully I'm wrong. I only get to see a portion of the picture. Fact still remains...we need less CJ Henderson's and more Adam Thielen's/Derrick Brown's..attitude wise.
  18. They should cut their loses. We already fugged ourselves with the Rams offer then then turning down every deal this year for Burns. Make that non exclusive for one first and call it. Who the hell is giving up 2 first for Brian Burns? I just don't see it after last season. Or he can play here under the tag and half ass it again.
  19. Crazy part is Brown is only 25 and probably a season or two away from his peak. Extend that man. 13 sacks from the interior is wild though.
  20. Bad move imo... ISM is/was one of the few bright spots on Offense. Hell we had 2 wins and dude was still running his ass off every snap. And one of the few players that actually showed explosive ability. AND he's probably our biggest return threat since Tedd Ginn Jr. Sure let's create another hole. Also makes me wonder if they're targeting Ainias Smith in the 3-4 range. Surely your not drafting Xavier Worthy or Keon Coleman to revamp your WR room and then placing them on punt duty.
  21. Probably best for both parties .. And I keep forgetting we have Jordan Matthew's at TE
  22. I guarantee Tremble likes this hire lol. As far as LSU connects: It's 32 picks before us and imo maybe 10 receivers with first to top 2nd talent. Maybe 3 teams with 6 of those WRs. 4-5 Qbs, Maybe 2 TE's, 8 Offensive Lineman, 7 dbs, 6 DE/OLB, 2 MLBs, and maybe 6 DT's. We might not have a first rounder but we should definitely leave Day 2 with a first round talent. And at the very least our newly acquired coach should provide an extra insight in the draft room.
  23. That TE is 6'7 260 lbs... that's WILD. Huge security blanket. As is Coleman and Thomas. Just throw it up. I think Coleman has the best hands but Thomas reminds me Harrison Jr a lil minus the route running. They haven't even grown into their frames yet. Malik Washington is going to be a good one. Worthy was my fav b4 the 40... he priced himself out of our range but Mitchell is good as well. Side note: That TCU TE is going to a nightmare to tackle as he gets stronger.
