ColumbusCounty replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Kk On Butler: Better first step than I had as a rookie ...... or something like that.... bottom line, it's about to get nasty on the inside!!! -
The Carolina Panthers player of the day is....
ColumbusCounty replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not much of a comp @ cb in training camp..... Bene, Boykin,3 draft picks .... I'm guessing the last spot goes to winner of Mcclain vs Young. As for Worley, we are only 2 days in(and no contact) but I wonder what the chances of him starting over our second rounder are?...Bradberry will be machine but more than likely not initially ...in the meantime Worley just may be the short term answer at cb #2. Way too early perspective but maybe not too far off base. -
Four Carolina Panthers Round Two Prospects
ColumbusCounty replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I could see those picks Igo posted... BUT ... I'd counter ... 1.Cravens 2. Boyd 3. Zach Sanchez 4. Andrew Billings.. -
First Round: Ryan Kelly, Derrick Henry... or receiver( I know... I know)..draft is so deep that receiver may be BPA. I can see a run after the 20th pick. Coleman, Dotson, Fuller, Tredwell, hell Gman had Funchess at a first round talent ...I could also see where he might give a first round grade to Boyd, Thomas and/or Shepard. If either Dodd or Lawson fall...all bets are off Second: ... Trade up for Cravens..or Karl Joseph Fourth: Lineman Roster spots are at a premium.

NFL Rookies React to Madden 16 ratings
ColumbusCounty replied to Daeavorn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Suprisingly Id say Devin's reaction has him above 75 .... 78-80 tops. You can't be "that" happy under 75 unless you had very low expectations. Pretty sure Funchess would have been a first rounder with better qb play. The hype the Panthers are putting on him is real. Back when I did play Madden ... I switched to Ncaa fwiw. -
If his college game translates then he is a MUST HAVE. Would like to keep him around as he is a beast of a blocker as well as a high IQ guy. If it works keep him and or atleast Pratice sqaud stash him.Thought I heard he was running back before going to stanford, just didnt get a lot of opportunity when Harbaugh brought him in. An extra blocker couldn't hurt especially at the goaline. Norwell, Turner, Kalil, Williams and Oher with Ward infront of Tolbert/Stew.. crazy ...add in the Cam threat ontop of the Funchess and KB duo on one side and Olsen @ the opposite ...I like it .. I like it a lot.

Phillip Dorsett to meet with Panthers
ColumbusCounty replied to LUUUUUKE's topic in Carolina Panthers
Would love to see him vs Bene in practice. If we don't grab him the Eagles or Chiefs will. -
Between an "offseason-ed" and improved Ealy and a undrugged Alexander I have no worries about our pass rush on the other side. With a little Addison sprinkled in. To build on that, If Star can put that weight back on or find a way to plug and dominate like he did his rookie year @ his current weight....watch out.. I have all the faith in the world in Short and CJ... Insert draft pick and good times are ahead.

Panthers veteran players that may be on the bubble
ColumbusCounty replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Judging from his speed that would be a step back on special teams. If we do draft a Cb...bene could move to nickle n allow Colin Jones to become a backup nickle and safety along with him doing his ST duties as well. Maybe situational nickle as I believe he has the talent. As far as coverage last year did show how much we miss Senn and Williams. -
First move would be get the man some tackles he can have faith in. Second move consists of a Shula Replacement. As of now, the sound Cam can hear more than anything is that of his own tackles rollerskates on the turf being pushed in and around his pocket. Remmers gets a pass but he's also upgradable. Nate Chandler should never see RT again...and Bell is Bell...good guy/bad starter .. no resign ..I thank you.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that Harper is EXTREME prideful in the fact that he has started at his position every year for the longest time(I forgot his total, maybe since coming into the league?) and his benchmark goal would be reached if he started this year. I'm sure this has been expressed to the staff when he was brought in via his agent. If we did draft Collins in the first and Roman is not cut I'm pretty sure he will be asked to be released. Which I wouldn't be 100% opposed to however we do need the depth. If Jennings is inked you can kiss Cotch goodbye. Although my expectations for Greg wouldn't be extremely high but his route running would match perfect with Cam esp. in timing routes. As far as overall yardage, assuming Olsen and Kelvin maintain 1k yards a piece + Ginn giving us shorter field position opposed to Bersin and on top of a Shula Offense, I think 600-700 yards would be realistic. Our DT rotation is solid but Cole and Dwan are both up there in age so I'd think DT is a strong possibility in the later rounds along with OLB. We need more depth there also. I'm not too sold on Glanton. I don't think either gets cut unless we double dipped again. Tolbert activated opened up the offense ...if he would have stayed healthy the entire season you could possibly argue Dickson would have had over 400 yards of production. If we can find a blocking machine Tolbert could be a casualty. Mike Tolbert from last season wasn't nearly as effective as Pro Bowl Tolbert from the year before but you could blame that on the injuries, oline, confidence, etc I guess. And speaking of oline, as far as cuts go, I could see Amini and Chandler being let go to make room. -
C'mon Greg !!!!!!!!!!!!! ...this could be a great move

Alan "Blue Balls" Ball leaves Panther offer on table
ColumbusCounty replied to CubsWin's topic in Carolina Panthers
For some reason this reminds me of Drayton Florence 2015. Pretty sure between the draft and preseason cuts their will be better and "maybe" cheaper talent to choose from. So if he doesn't sign, I wouldn't be disappointed in any way. In fact, forget this guy we need to focus on extending Norman (28) for 3-4 years before his price gets too high especially with the Cam and Luke deals looming.
