I think they'd look a lot better if you had plays and schemes to give them a chance to be successful. We wouldn't be a dominate team but at least we'd look a little more competent. Instead, we put the whole responsibility for success on a Rookie QB.

I'm going. I'd give anything if we could knock the Bucs out of the playoffs.

Wouldn’t you rather just have Christian McCaffery, DJ Moore…

Almost everyone wanted CMC to be traded because of his injury history. Now it's all about how stupid it was. That's the way this board works. It's very knee jerk reaction and drama. -
The only people who care about this are the panther's fans because they are hyper critical of everything. We've had Kraft get arrested in a massage parlor. Richardson was forced to sale to keep them from investigating secret payouts due to sexual harrassment and racial slurs. Jim Irsay was arrested for DUI and possession. Daniel Snyder is still a problem. Some owner tossing a drink on someone is barely news. The worst thing is that it was caught on camera.

He did a little hop step as he made his break. The ball was already in the air. -

We are running plays like we were when Reich was calling them. -
Win number 3.

REPORT: Ben Johnson wants $15 million per year

Tepper is like, "What luck! I just found that in my coat pocket and forgot I had put it there last winter." -
I remember a time when almost every return had a chance of fumble.

I thought we also ran some plays I haven't seen this season. Those little sweeps seemed to work well for the most part. Bryce took more snaps under center than I have noticed before.
-
I like those better.

It's amazing what happens when receivers catch footballs that hit them in theor hands. Chark made the catch ofnthe day. Theilen had a touchdown pass but dropped it.

Good run by Chuba. Now time for the Sanders 1 yd run.

Having Chase and Higgins helps a whole damn lot.

Positive thread - 2003 Panthers memories

That first game. It's been a while but I think Rodney Peete started and it looked Dismal. Fox sent Jake in. I think he threw as many INTs as Touchdowns in that game, but it was enough to win. From then on it was on. But it was that touchdown throw to Smith in the Bucs game that really made me believe that year. -
The problem is a lot of players didnt fit his system. Not just Bryce.

You can be the smartest guy in the world, but you can't play chess with checkers.

We need a solid WR. I doubt we pick one up in FA so best available in the draft. If one does come available in FA, get that one too.

Your Newbie name is right. There were a lot of people that didn't want Reich. He was fired during the season of his last head coaching job too.
-
His footwork isn't as jittery. Still the same team around him. Still the same plays called. If anything cues you in, it's Dalton asking for different plays in the Seattle game. Bryce is just doing what Reich had called on him to do. The very fact that they chose not to address his footwork until after the season and make sure he knew the playbook first shows how bad the coaching staff has handled him. He is in his own head right now and has no faith in the team around him except maybe Theilen. Bryce can and will be a good NFL QB, but this was not the team or the year to provide that foundation.

This is it. Go look back at the Atlanta game. He was a different QB. But I think a lot of it is coaching. The play calling and plays have sucked. There are other inconsistencies in the team's play that indicate we didn't have the best cohesion of coaches. He's getting pressured consistently and we're sending everyone out on routes. I think they forced too much on him too soon thinking they were QB whispers that were going to have him out playing like a pro from the first snap. Right now, he's in flight mode, waiting for the pocket to collapse, afraid to make a bad decision.
