When Rhule was throwing out the names of guys he considered to be team leaders in his presser, he mentioned Paradis.

I think that was just Gettleman. Don't remember Hurney doing that.

I have a hard time imagining that he gets another shot. Honestly, I was kind of surprised that he got this one.

Let me throw a name out there... If they think he's improved, Paradis? Wouldn't bet on it, but the thought crossed my mind. Could conceivably offer some cap savings and a veteran leader/utility guy on the inside.

The question for the Giants was gonna be whether he could play TE. Now I guess the question is whether he can play well with others. (and the answer seems to be "no")

I don't buy us being in on it at this point. Speculation is probably based on the whole "David Tepper will pay any price" thing which turned out to be garbage. Tepper supposedly wanted Justin Fields too but here we are.

Basically, if he predicts something, it's pretty much guaranteed not to happen. Now in response, he'll probably ask who Matt Rhule or Scott Fitterer reports to because he thinks that's an effective comeback
