You're the one that wanted to talk about the Lions game but not the Saints game, both of which were way more recent and, I might add, under the current staff (which Grier's were not). Wonder why

Bravado from a Jets fan is kind of amusing.

Which one was just last season as opposed to a few years back?

I think the plan for this season was to sign stopgap guys while we built the O-line through the draft. -

The Steelers went twenty plus years with only a single losing season using that philosophy. -
You wanted to talk about actual games. How come you don't want to talk about that one?

Like the Saints game?

Nice article by The Observer's Jonathan Alexander... GM Scott Fitterer mentions that he's willing to talk to players and agents about their contracts at pretty much any time when it might be beneficial. Some GMs won't, but Fitterer apparently doesn't feel like it's too much of a distraction. Both Fitterer and Rhule seem to want to concentrate more on keeping our own than going out and spending big in free agency. Hence the extensions for guys like Moton and Anderson. On a related note, a recent discussion in The Athletic asked agents to talk about team officials. Fitterer was mentioned a couple of times as somebody agents believe they can trust; also as someone who knows what he's talking about when it comes to evaluating players. For the curious, the least trusted GM was Philly's Howie Roseman. Agents felt like he'd lie to his own mother just for the heck of it.

I see you don't like to mention things like passing stats and QB rating. PJ is a big play guy, which is fine when he gets lucky. But if we learned anything by watching Drew Brees, it's that consistency wins way more games than big plays

I'd say this also helps explain why they lost.

I think they ran a black cat under a ladder across a broken mirror. Yikes

You're reaching by going back. Their more recent performances are way more relevant than previous ones. And again, that "helps in practice" argument is still one of the stupidest things I've seen. You don't take up a roster spot for something as dumb as that.

Avoiding a sack doesn't mean jack sh-t if you throw a bad pass.

Have you seen Luke since he retired? In the pictures I've seen, it looks like he's dropped a fair amount of weight.

I hear Dontari Poe is available.

Well, more than it would to keep him as a starter

Wonder if they've thought about trying Ian Thomas in that spot
