  1. Well, we can't get Tepper fired, so...
  2. He's waiting to see how Burns does on his Chemistry mid-term first.
  3. We've been saying the same things since about week five of Rhule's first season. This has been a monumental bust and one where if it isn't fixed quickly, it could damage the team for a generation. Fire these fuggers now.
  4. Was born there, spent a big part of my life there, just a really tough place to make a living.
  5. Yanno what, I've been wanting to say this for a couple of years but figured it would piss people off. But here goes. fug Jay-Z.
  6. Byron was a tough, gutsy player who brought a lot to the huddle and the lockerroom. As a coach, he's been even better. I think his combination of working his way up the coaching ranks AND his playing time on the field makes him an outstanding candidate. If we were to snag him, I'd think we'd set ourselves up for long term success.
  7. We brought this guy in to make things better, to light a fire under the offense. Wow.
  8. Saquon Barkley got 164 yards rushing on 18 carries against Tennessee. He added another 6 receptions for 30 yards. Team totaled 238 total rushing yards against a decent Titans defense. I'm not liking our chances here.
  9. Yeah. This ain't working out. If the Giants eat us alive this Sunday... What am I saying? Nothing is going to happen. It never does. It never has.
  10. Let's see how it all plays out. I was unimpressed by the game we played this past Sunday, maybe we'll see some new wrinkles and he might be more active. We know as little about what is going on on the practice fields and meeting rooms of the Panthers as we know about little green men in flying saucers. We're just riffing on what we think we see and what we think we ought to know. Also, decisions by this coaching staff often prove to be poorly made. Make of that what you will.
  11. I like Belichick's idea that every lineman wears a brace on each knee at all times in practice and in games, whether they've been injured or not. It's a smart move.

    Coaching, man, coaching.
  13. Rhule and Tepper, most folks agree on. Fitterer... I just don't see where the love comes from. If he has put together such a good team, how come it looks this bad? His draft picks look like busts. His free agent signings have about a 20% modestly successful rate. I just don't see a wizard there. Clean house, Tep. Start again and get someone to advise you. As bad as things were under Ron and Marty, it wasn't this hopeless.
  14. Good writer, correct observations. And we've now seen the Full Costanza. We need to start a #FreeRhule movement so that he can rightfully head to Nebraska with nary a worry. Really. We'll be alright, he can move on and move up.
  15. Who knows? Who cares? For all the posturing, the NFL really can't and won't force someone to sell. Richardson wasn't forced to sell, he was already making that move and the whole deal was just done to speed up the process. His scandals, which were pretty minor in the big scheme of things, were exploited by him and the rest of the owners. We were marks. Snyder won't go anywhere until he wants to and someone wants to pay enough for it. And that sale will make the Tepper purchase look like chump change.
  16. It's not like they are going to go back and give us the win. So, we move on. We're going to lose a few games this year due to bad calls from the refs. From what I saw yesterday, we're going to lose even more due to bad calls from the guys on our own payroll.
