  1. Doing the Lord's work brother. Hopefully the mods will start throwing out some temp bans for nonsense arguments polluting these. 90+% of us appreciate everything you are doing.
  2. Lots of people getting trolled by one goof with a potato cam screenshot in a view with no depth perception and little resolution. Be better, Huddle. No more troll feeding. This dude is a super low tier poster already.
  3. The cap is projected to skyrocket over the next few seasons with the new TV deal. I don't think the QB salaries will be much of a concern for a bit.
  4. If we judge him by that price tag, he will need to be a truly elite pass rusher. All Pro/DMVP caliber guy. I also don't think that's particularly fair. He didn't turn down that trade our FO did. If he can settle into being a consistent top 10-12 pass rusher in the NFL, that's still exceptional value for where we actually drafted him.
  5. I suspect most are gonna be surprised by how big the Burns contract is. I would be surprised if he isn't a top 3-5 paid DE. He definitively hasn't played that way but we basically showed our hand when the info about the Rams trade leaked. The fact that we turned down that haul means he is going to get basically whatever he asks for eventually. Our best hope is that he is a little bit nice to us but I won't blame him for demanding a top 3 DE contract.
  6. TBH, early on he was much closer to average. His leap last year was exciting, though.
  7. Yeah, I like Brown but he should not be expecting a contract like that. If he does.....time to move on.
  8. Gettleman would only be considered "above average" by Carolina Panthers GM standards. He is decidedly below average by NFL standards.
  9. Yeah, that situation should be cut and dry that you pick up the 5th year but if he misses a big chunk of time in 2023, I don't think it will be a slam dunk. Skill level is awesome but it's hard to develop and contribute if you spend more than half your career on the injury list.
  10. I actually am not. We are setting ourselves up to be contenders for a long time. Continuing to have an excellent farm system is going to keep us an elite team.
  11. I think keeping Campen was critical for a guy like Ekwonu and really for all of our younger linemen. If Ikey can make a step forward in year two, he might be the anchor we have been looking for forever. Possibly a 10+ year guy if he keeps improving. We sure as fug need it.
  12. Pretty sure he would be our second best piano playing RB. Jonathan Stewart is a pretty good piano man himself.
  13. But we also have never seen an elite goalie in Carolina. Wouldn't that be interesting to see in our system? Could solve a few of the goal scoring problems by itself.
  14. Schiano is in the discussion but I ultimately think Rhule was a bigger disaster.
  15. I genuinely think only one of those guys on that list is worse and that is Urban Meyer.
  16. Good. I hope more and more of this crap becomes public so that people who still think he wasn't the absolutely worst coaching hire in franchise history can see. Also so that they can see how he was one of the worst in NFL history.
  17. One of the last Matt Rhule usernames around.
  18. I mean, I would be floored with that. Talk about setting a good identity.
  19. Remember he did come from the Legion of Boom era of the Seahawks. I definitely see some signs of him trying to create a little bit of that here.
  20. Cam is not high on that list. I will live him forever but his arm is completely shot. It just is what it is. Dalton is probably #1 or #2. Teddy might be the only contender.
