  1. Oddly, much more productive in YAC this season. That was surprising to see.
  2. Some interesting comparisons from last season and this season(QB, OL, WR). First Down Passing % 2020: 38.1% 2021: 31.9% Intended Air Yards/Pass Attempt 2020: 7.0 2021: 7.9 Completed Air Yards/Pass Attempt 2020: 4.0 2021: 3.2 YAC/Cmp 2020: 4.2 yds 2021: 5.5 yds Drop % 2020: 4.7% 2021: 7.6% Bad Throw%(hilarious side note, PJ Walker has 9 bad throws on 15 attempts this season) 2020: 12.8% 2021: 19.8% Pressure % 2020: 20.1% 2021: 27.9%
  3. He hasn't changed at all. Look at film from the other three teams he has been on in his short career.
  4. The line starts playing mediocre??? poo....sign me up for that!
  5. He has been this guy his entire career. I have no idea why they signed him in the first place.
  6. If you haven't figured it out, @4Corners is basically the dumbest and most useless poster on the Huddle and that is saying a lot.
  7. The 4 Man Rush has been crushing him all year long for his lack of effort.
  8. I legit forgot to mention that we have held our opponents under 200 Passing Yds/GM 6 other times. This year we are averaging 188.9 yds/GM passing. The other times are as follows: 2009 - 191.0 2006 - 187.5 2005 - 191.1 2003 - 187.7 2002 - 187.1 1997 - 187.9 Really this information shouldn't be a surprise as almost all of our head coaches in franchise history have been defensive minded head coaches.
  9. That was a once in a lifetime kind of find, unfortunately. It's pretty rare to find a dumpster dive QB like that(Kurt Warner comes to mind). We need something. Honestly, I will settle for just a guy that won't fug it up for the defense while we try to find The Guy.
  10. Measuring by talent will always be subjective. Measuring by results will never be subjective.
  11. Nor do you have any proof of your claim. I know that Teddy Bridgewater did better here with a similar situation. Let that sink in.
  12. I don't blame the OL coaches or QB coaches for the turds they have been given to shine.
  13. Most elite QB's would have done far better than Darnold has here. Most average QB's would have done far better than Darnold has here. Most QB's would have done far better than Darnold has here.
  14. Well that is what people said about Darnold/Gase but Darnold doesn't appear to work anywhere either.
  15. True. We aren't likely to win this game anyway.
  16. If we weren't playing them this week, I'd be down for that.
  17. The offense performed similarly but the defense was much better.
  18. Our Red Zone TD% has gone from 50.88% in 2020 to 56.00% in 2021. Teddy had a QB Rating of 80.19 inside the 20 and 95.83 inside the 10. Darnold has a QB Rating of 100.74 inside the 20 and 93.38 inside the 10.
  19. I view them as one and the same decision. IMO, they completely intended to pick up that option once they traded for him. So, ultra stupid decision, not a calculated gamble. Had they simply turned down that 5th year option, we are basically just making a cheap, longshot gamble. Given that Darnold also cost us significant draft capital, I would have much rather signed Trubisky for 1 year and $2.5 mil. That would have been the much better and much smarter route to get a bust QB.
  20. We'll trade for Collins and Fuller with our 2022 1st and 2nd round picks. We'll lead the league in pass defense as a 6-11 team.
