  1. I would just plain cut him at the 53. He isn't worth keeping around if he can't get healthy. It's been his reputation already.
  2. I mean, I told them I thought it was metal in my eye. Then they did the flourescent dye and saw it was just a scratch. That was when they asked if it was a sexual partner. Until you told your story, I just assumed that guy was fuging weird. How many people come in with sexual eye injuries?
  3. I honestly figured this was just inevitable. Maybe he doesn't get cut this round but I can't understand the logic to keeping a guy that hasn't played or practiced basically this entire camp. Plus....I mean the vaccine thing makes it easier from a team standpoint.
  4. Similar. I have a lot of Tinderbox dopes on there from when they kept bringing their trash to the main board a while back. I keep stocking it with non-Panthers fans or fake fans like iamhubby and glenwo. How do you come to a board and pretend to be a fan of another team? So strange.
  5. I had an unexplained scratched cornea and went to the ER thinking it was metal in my eye(had two OSHA injuries involving that prior) and they basically said something similar. Is this some new fetish I am unaware of?? Some Three Stooges cosplay?
  6. Herron hucks his guy pretty well too. Edit: Eh, maybe not that well. Looks like his guy just lets up.
  7. That would have been 22 pages of the in game thread.
  8. I think you are underestimating how bad he was with the Jets. They are both gunslingers. Minshew is part of this newer generation of gunslingers that take care of the ball a lot better. Darnold seems to lean more old school. Lots of talent, lots of dumb. We will see which wins out.
  9. I was told the Lord works in mysterious ways.
  10. I don't think he is one we could even afford to cut.
  11. Does that make The Tinderbox dopes the Huddle AIDS?
  12. Yeah, I mean most of our non-idiot fans feel the same way. Darnold should be fine because if doesn't change any from the Jets, we will be a top 8 pick and if he shows he is the guy, the problem is solved.
  13. I agree. Mediocre Darnold is the real nightmare scenario. IMO, regular Darnold and good Darnold are the most likely outcomes. The truth is, we aren't likely to make any moves at QB in 2021 without some injuries. The thought of dumpster diving or trading for a QB is just a fantasy some like to entertain. Honestly, the same goes for the bulk of our team. I don't think we are going to get a lot of value from post cut dumpster diving.
  14. Darnold does have top tier arm talent and some ability to make something out of nothing. More than Minshew, IMO. Don't get me wrong, Minshew has been leaps and bounds a better NFL QB to date but the top end for Darnold is actually high.
  15. Those were such head scratching moves. I'd rather see BC and Brown after the week of practices and pretend game versus Indy. Give them some first tream reps. What is it gonna do, stunt the growth of two veteran players? I only see upside playing those guys more.
  16. That's the thing. We know Minshew can play well in the NFL because he has. Darnold's instances of competent NFL play have been pretty limited. But Darnold clearly has a higher ceiling than Minshew, although a far lower floor. Minshew is an attractive option for us because there is no Plan B in 2021 if Darnold shits the bed. That said, I don't think the odds of him being our answer for this future would be very high. He's just a reasonable solution to a potential 2021 problem.
  17. I don't think anyone doubted he could be a mauler in the run game, the question was could he be agile enough to get his hands on people in pass protection or could he make blocks consistently beyond the line of scrimmage. BC and Brown looked good enough against backups that I would like to see them against starters at some point in the preseason. We know that Elflein and Erving aren't likely to the guys. I'd much rather watch younger players with higher ceilings tale their lumps and potentially get better.
  18. Projecting is literally what you just did.
  19. I also don't think that many teams are eyeballing Minshew as a starter. A top shelf backup is more likely.
