  1. He seems to just generally not like dealing with the press, to be quite honest, although I haven't looked at any more clips than those you are providing. I would say almost less disinterest and more disdain. As Pup stated, very Belichick-esque in attitude.
  2. The price(and really the trade as a whole) is purely speculative for Watson. So is what Winston will cost to sign. Watson's "success" has been well documented. I am not one to throw shade towards a QB in a hopeless situation(see my comments on Matt Stafford). Watson can't undo how much of an idiot Bill O'Brien was.
  3. They were sharp most of the 2nd and a pretty good chunk of this period.
  4. That was the first one really on Reimer. Gotta control those rebounds.
  5. Can we just let them have their guy back if we get a PP? I feel like this is something we should at least consider.
  6. We keep up that intensity in the third period and we win this easily.
  7. I think it's also they are actually hearing from scouts that don't consider him to be as surefire of a pick as other scouts do.
  8. Maybe S&ME. I think there are a lot more civil firms in CLT.
  9. I am a hired gun. I come in and fix things or work short term contracts. It isn't that rare in my line of work but I tend to be a lot less loyal than most. It has worked in my favor so far. So absolutely no regrets about it.
  10. I am not cherry picking. Just choosing two random "all time greats" and comparing. I can do more statistical comparisons, if you prefer. My ultimate point is that Winston played in an offense that was the worst possible thing for him. Arians offense always produces QB TO's. It even did for Brady this year. In fact, look at all his stops and only Pittsburgh did he not have the team bottom 10 in QB turnovers(this year, as well). So, is he a gunslinger that will never truly take care of the ball? Probably. Is he much different than Brett Favre was? Statistically....no. The big difference between him and Favre right now is the length of career. I would have loved to have sign him to that sweetheart of a deal that New Orleans got him at. I'd take him on a short, cheap deal here if they won't.
  11. I mean, I guess any way you want to twist the narrative. The fact is that was an outlier season for all three QB's. Well.....except for Favre who actually had six 20+ INT seasons. Winston's 4.8% INT Percentage in 2019 would have actually been the third highest in Peyton Manning's career and tied for the second highest in Brett Favre's career. But again, I guess only Winston has had a terrible season in NFL history.
  12. I've worked for 29 different companies in roughly 14 years and there are about 20% of them that are loyal, mostly smaller companies. I have yet to work for a Fortune 500 company that has any loyalty whatsoever.
  13. Teddy Bruschi is also a dumb Pats homer. He slurps them so hard it's digusting. I am pretty sure Stafford just wants to avoid New England after having to deal with Matt Patricia's dumb ass for three years.
  14. Watson is an established elite NFL QB. Winston is an erratic gunslinger with elite attributes but fatal flaws. I would have no issue bringing in Winston on a 1 year deal but he isn't in the same class as Watson, at the moment.
  15. This seems to be about David Newton, right? You know what, actually fug this. This is why Twitter is for twats. What an unholy sewer of stupidity.
