  1. It's because he has zero work ethic and spends every offseason playing video games, binging Netflix and chilling with his buddies. A light 20 minute workout every morning is the extent of this guys offseason training regiment.
  2. OT is probably the teams biggest need moving forward. Moton on his last legs, gonna be gone soon. Ickey's injury is really nasty and has a very low success rate. Most likely he never returns to form 100%. Walker is just a one year band-aid. In today's NFL you need two good OTs and they have ZERO long term answers. If Bryce flames out, then you're forced to use the 1st next year on a QB (and possibly 2nd rounder to trade up). And then what? You drop your new top pick QB in behind an OLine with zero OTs, two aging guards and whoever ends up playing center? Total disaster. Given that Freeling was considered a top 15 pick by most, easy decision here. Not flashy or exciting but it's the right move.
  3. Every year the Jets end up perfectly positioned in the draft. Everything falls into place to where they could easily come away with a kings ransom. And every year they fug it up.
  4. Magic are the least scary playoff team in NBA history. Easy dub
  5. 1st round - WR 2nd round - RB 3rd round - undersized Appalachian State player we convert to a position they've never played before
  6. Former GMs have admitted to leaking information like this about players they really wanted. You've got a guy that put up crazy numbers AND looks great on tape AND has all the measurables. You really want him, but you're not picking that high, and you know he's not making it to your pick. So you leak stories about his "work ethic" or "character concerns" and hope teams ahead of you buy it and pass on him. Literally former GMs have admitted to doing this in the past... so there's that. Not saying that's what happened here 100%, but it's at least a possibility. And Dallas (and I think at least one other team) were going crazy trying to trade up into our spot when we were on the clock, and it was specifically to get TMac.
  7. Imagine giving the OROY a C. I've seen some bad takes on the internet but this goes full retard. Yeah, he just "by default" beat out every other offensive player in the entire draft. With Bryce Young as his QB no less.
  8. Both of your early picks are luxury picks... for a team that absolutely cannot afford to be making luxury picks.
  9. 3 things you can't avoid in life Death, taxes and JJ Jansen
  10. I've watched him throw the ball away on 4th down. Are we really surprised cherry picked stats look good when he outright refuses to throw into tight windows, something literally every other QB in the NFL does. It's like saying someone in the NBA is a great shooter because of their field goal percentage - nevermind that they ONLY shoot wide open layups, refuse to shoot otherwise and average 5 points a game. Zoom out and look at big picture metrics, the complete story looks alot different - 27th in scoring (despite an above average supporting cast), 32nd in yards-per-attempt, 30th in yards-per-game.
