  1. Then understanding his value to us knowing that's he's untradeable, is too seperate things. It's he important, yes.
  2. Obviously, the teams that tried to trade for him didn't feel that their logic was zero. We were and still are in construction mode, so trading our best pass rusher for multiple picks would be no different than trading our best WR for multiple picks, so there is logic. However zero logic with me is why some people on the huddle feel they need to lash out or be asinine when a respectful conversation would go far better in building the fan base of the team we support. KEEP POUNDING...
  3. How important he was to the team, maybe not. But that he was untradeable, was probably a mystery to some, I know it was to me...
  4. Aren't we supposed to win the division...
  5. I know it's preseason, but it's preseason for them too...
  6. I'll be thrilled for us to have those numbers...
  7. Everybody wants to be a hindsight expert. It was an excellent pickup and acceptable cost at the time...
  8. R.I.P. to one the greatest to ever do it!
  9. I'm still focused. He didn't stiffle the maturation of any WR's, including this we drafted. He was the example of how to play the position and how to be disciplined in your work ethic to improve. I acknowledged his chip on his shoulder and will accept that chip with his game play every practice, every Monday and Thursday night and twice on Sunday's. Only kids that misquote someone words needs to grow up!
  10. How many games would this good teammates have won without Steve Smith? Ice Up Son...
  11. I am focused. He stayed true to who is, his entire career. He made players better with his game and them watching him practice. He wasn't paid to be a coach, he was paid to be a WR. He deter any WR on the team from being better, that's on them just like it was on him.
  12. Did he have a chip on his shoulder, yes absolutely. He's also the best WR to wear a Carolina Panthers uniform.
  13. If sawed off means: pushing players to be better, telling them to get in their playbook, to get up of the ground after a hit practice how you play and to play with a boulder on your shoulder, then yeah...
  14. OMG, constant Prayers to him and the family...
  15. This new era is refreshing to me. I remember when our undrafted signings were mostly the same guys for years. Either guys that didn't make the roster, made it at the end of a season but still qualified. The Carolina Panthers are truly building but we started far better than we were and we're ready to KEEP POUNDING!
  16. Nothing happen, Bryce Young is a Panther...
  17. This has been the most exciting time before the season, for us, in a long time...
  18. "I think you are undervaluing our talent level. But hey, there are a whole lot of Huddlers who are doing the same thing. That's fine and all. But, don't come running to me if we start winning games and have a good season and all." What in the sam hill are you talking about? Where do I elude to undervaluing our players. This is the NFL, the best football players in the world and no all of them aren't on the same level. But good Coaching can coach them to be better in our system, ie. Josh Norman. Come crying to you when we start winning. This my team, I'm expecting us to start winning. This is the most excited I've been about a season since Cam Newton. But this ain't a one man show no more. The Carolina Panthers are looking for legitimacy...
  19. I agree, but the players we have is who we have. We will have better, even or worse players than our opponents. Hopefully our coaching will win out. Coaching isn't just about coaching the game but relating to the players and getting to play above their potentials.
