Report: Deshaun Watson would OK trade to Carolina Panthers
pantherclaw replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is not news. -
We have a lot of holes to fill, an olibe to build, for me to get caught up in any major QB addition.
-
Makes sense. To have him back cheaper would be good.
-
Without a good oline, won't matter who is throwing the ball.

La Canfora on Tepper's desire for Watson/franchise QB
pantherclaw replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was one of the first to suggest Watson before he got his big extension. So my desire for Watson is documented. While I realize out new front office promises to be more aggressive, it may end up being to aggressive. Getting rid of Burns would be an example of to aggressive. We've been tying to rebuild the pass rush for a long time, and we're finally getting there, but haven't arrived. Getting rid of burns, will set us back on pass rush, which isn't easy to replace. Ultimately, the Texans hold all the cards. I'd be shocked if Watson is wearing another uniform this next season. -
Just because others love them doesn't change the fact that outside of click bait, they are 100% worthless.
-
Mocks are pretty pointless. And there is nothing wrong with acknowledging that fact. Yes, there are a bunch of fanatics that love mocks. They are click bait. That doesn't mean the person has to like them or love them. They are a great big waste of time, but a lot of people have time to burn.

This forum is so seriously twisted on what is a good LT and what isn't. Lmao -
If a QB isn’t there at 8... Slater is your pick
pantherclaw replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not many do. It's called a crap shot for a reason. -

Per Joe Person: players Panthers would like to re-sign
pantherclaw replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
The round drafted doesn't matter. His talent is now proven, he can probably get a contract north of $12 mil a year the way the receiver market has been. -
I'd rather the team continue to add talent to the secondary through the draft. No reasonntonspend big like that when we aren't that close.

That is beyond fuged up.

For all you new-school fans: Do I have to say it?
pantherclaw replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Backup starting tackles. That's actually is evidence that supports defense wins championships. As the players were able to play as well as the starters would have against a good defense. Refs? That's every game played, and isn't a legitimate excuse. Sure, fans can be upset over it, but that's where it ends. The most complete team? Absolutely, and a good defense is a part of that equation. Tom Brady had pretty pedestrian stats in the game, which also is evidence supporting the fact that defense wins Championships. -
And yet the team would, and will do it again.
-
Just let me take this moment tonsay that so.many fans castrated our coaches for doing this. While fans automatically think backups should get help, players are expected to execute the playback, and I promise you that adding help to the tackles isn't a large part of any teams playback. Yes, it ended up costing cost the Chiefs the game, but throwing out most of what your offense has executed for the year, would have most likely ended in a similar result.

Congratulations Teddy, you're obviously better than many in this thread. -
Trade up with Dolphins seems the most likely at this point

This.is for the folks who think our coaches and GM don't know what they are doing. Yes, Rhule was brought in to change our culture, and to build a perennial winner. Yes, both him and Tepper said to have patience. That doesn't mean that their not trying to get the center piece as soon as possible. The sooner you have a franchise QB, the better it aids in building that perennial winner. I feel it's pretty obvious they aren't scared of doing what it takes to get the one they feel can do that. Their top 10 choices may not, probably not look like yours or mine. It's a long off season, and it's going to be entertaining to watch it unfold, and watch the huddle freak out at every turn. -
How close did the Panthers come to getting Stafford? Dang close.

While I'm sure you're entertained by stroking your own ego, you are doing nothing but proven my own opinion on you, to be spot on. God Bless.
