Offensive support cast ranked 31st in the league
pantherclaw replied to panthers55's topic in Carolina Panthers
We have more proven depth at the position than I can remember. We have what Steve Smith calls a dog, a stud, a rising start due to how he plays. Frank admitted Mingo even surprised them during the players visit. Out of 30 players. We have a proven speedster. We have one of the best complimentary receiers in the game with Thielen, whom is a natural leader. We have a 3rd year guy whom has been getting better every year, and is #1 in the NFL on go routes, even though he's not really a speedster. We have proven, veter depth!! We still have a running back that can catch the ball. Frank also loves using guys that play the tightend position. I know, those guys are all chumps, right? Man, I am a pretty cynical asshole, but I even have a hard time hating on this offensive talent. -

Our receiving room is deep. No argument about no true number 1. But to say we have no talent that scares defenses is just stupid. The group will work itself out. I guess it's the offseason and the doom and gloom people feel this is something they can stand on. -

We have no receivers that scare anyone? Where the hell.do people get this poo from? We don't have a true bona-fide #1. That doesn't mean we don't have talent, and won't be able to pass the ball. Cheese and rice!!! -
Ranking NFL coaches for 2023- Reich is 18

Holy hell, that is some bad trash!

Of course he still has to adjust to game speed moments. Why is it we can't talk about how good this kid is, without bringing him down? Too much feel goods? You guys don't know how to handle that as Panther fans? Scared some short stack is going to be a better QB then Cam ever was? What is it? The kid is thriving. Which means no Matter how you look at it, he's going to be fun to watch come game time.

I don't see any upgrades that are available on the street.

Shocked this hasn't been suggested on this crowd. Tepper Stadium.

The mass majority in their right mind here, for a change. Hard pass.

I don't believe you have to have a true stud receiver to win a Championship. Today's elite offenses SD the ball around anyways. Would I love another stud in the receiver room? Absolutely. We can still win with what we have.

Our depth chart at receiver, is EXTREMELY fluid. It'll be interesting how it sorts itself our during the season.

Our starting secondary is a strong suit, as long as they are all on the field. Say what you want about Horn and Jackson, but any team would be in trouble if they lost both their starting corners.

Andy tops that entire list. Facts.

I fuging hate the bullshit around Cam. Evidently ya can't say anything negative without hating. And even them it's the teams fault. fug that stupid narrative. When we drafted Cam, I was excited, because of his potential to be one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. While Cam was a great athlete, and a force on the field, he failed to live up to even moderate expectations from myself. This all the while wanting him to be the best. That's not a hater, that is a supporter, and one that doesn't sit here way too long down this stupid broken road, still wearing Cam colored glasses.

If they can create a consistently strong pass rush, the backend doesn't have to elite. Nit saying we can't use more talent and CB, but I don't see any starting quality CBs laying around.

Young is officially the starting QB.

Predict Team Captains!!! Will Bryce be one his rookie year?
pantherclaw replied to DennisM1's topic in Carolina Panthers
Part of being a Captain, is having the battle experience. Not college battle experience. Not OTA battle experience, Actual NFL Regular season battle experience. I realize it's a players vote, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him voted, but he honestly shouldn't. -

If Corral is still on this team at any point where he'd be the main backup, then our coach would have done him a great disservice. -
So our sister team is getting a new stadium?
pantherclaw replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sister team? Rolls my eyes.
