  1. Oh it would be a horrible “investment” to buy them from the team directly for what they charge at this point with unknowns on the future. But just the idea that keeps coming up around here that PSL holders are somehow at fault for why the organization is terribly run for not just surrendering thousands of dollars back to the team doesn’t really do anything. If the team doesn’t resell the PSL, they’ll just sell the tickets. You’re absolutely right about the other stuff, but the idea that this is going to starve Tepper into making good football decisions is not well thought out.
  2. Dropping your PSL just means the team gets it back to sell to someone else, probably a corporation or ticket broker. And it already is a corporate events center for opposing teams, have you been to a game in the last five years?
  3. That’s a big part of it, along with his connection of playing most of his career there, similar to one of the reasons he wanted the Michigan job in the first place.
  4. You might wanna update your list, Harbaugh will be coaching the Bears if he comes back to NFL.
  5. Your PSLs go back to the team and you get nothing for them
  6. Didn’t he rant about people having the audacity to take government hand outs and admit at the same time he was spending his unemployment checks on coke?
  7. Yeah this guy just makes poo up https://x.com/toddhamptoniii/status/1699811280201154748?s=46&t=YYLxyS-jC1bMsd7uOg_6Ag
  8. It’s literally the first time I’ve done it in 20 years and I couldn’t be more happy w how I turned out
  9. Delhomme blew out his elbow in 2007 which was Moore’s rookie year. You could certainly argue Moore outplayed Jake in 2009, but by that point he was in meltdown mode to the point that he had to go to the browns to stay in the league. Jake was never the most physically gifted guy, but I don’t see how you can argue that a Super Bowl appearance and an NFC championship game with 22 game winning drives and 17 4th quarter comes backs is somehow not better than a guy who had more picks than TDs as a panther.
  10. That’s actually dropped quite a bit, they had been $200 prior to the last 7 days. One of my friends who has 4 in the front row of the end zone sold his back in august for nearly 5k total. Cowboys fans from Dallas NC evidently saved their money for this game
  11. I only put Collins at 4 because of the 1996 season when we went to the NFC championship and he made the pro bowl.
  12. Agree to disagree I guess. I’m not a big fan of the win as a Qb stat mindset, more of a function of the team and competiton, especially with a very small sample size.
  13. So yours is more of a favorite players list. I mean I respect Vinny because he came off the couch to play and he probably shouldn’t have but to say he contributed more than Steve Beuerlein just doesn’t seem right.
  14. Look I don’t like Darnold either, but PJ and his 5 TDs vs 11 picks weren’t better than him, I’m sorry. The ranking of Darnold, Moore, Allen were so close because to me they are all the same guy (although completely different draft pedigree in Sams case). Pretty decent if all their surrounding cast were prefect, but you’re screwed if they have to carry your team. I only ranked Sam higher because they were at least in a playoff race with him. For the people that wanted another year of Sam after looking at how he finished last year, I compared that stretch to Moores end of 2009 season and his fans got really mad.
  15. Vinny at #3 with 6 starts, 2-4 record and 5 TD vs 6 INTs? Taylor Heinicke top 10 with only one start?
  16. Moore and Darnold have more wins, Teddy has more yards. Honestly those four were the hardest to rank off the whole list. Like their best stretch of football they were good enough game managers, but crumbled once there was more pressure out on their shoulders.
  17. 86 TDs vs 50 INTs as a Panther before the passing rules became more favorable. I’d sign up for that right now, no questions asked.
  18. I hate darnold as much as anybody and it pained me to even write his name but Vinny only started 6 games for us and DA just 4.
  19. Hey don’t besmirch the name of Steve Beuerlein like that. The other 21 are fair game
  20. I got this idea from seeing a fans ranking of all 36 starting QBs that the Browns have gone through so far and it kept my mind off what is going to happen to us tomorrow. We have had 24 quarterbacks that started at least one regular season game for us in our team’s history. Based strictly on their Panthers career up to this point, how would you rank them? Here are your starters, listed first by when they played: Frank Reich Kerry Collins Steve Beuerlein Chris Weinke Matt Lytle Rodney Peete Randy Fasani Jake Delhomme Vinny Testaverde David Carr Matt Moore Jimmy Clausen Brian St. Pierre Cam Newton Derek Anderson Taylor Heinicke Kyle Allen Will Grier Teddy Bridgewater PJ Walker Sam Darnold Baker Mayfield Bryce Young Andy Dalton Here is what I came up with. Again I’m listing by what they’ve accomplished in their time as a panther, not overall career elsewhere or general ability. Hence why I have Andy Dalton ranked below Clausen, Carr etc since he’s only started one game up to this point. Also this is not meant to be an indictment on Bryce, he has a lot of factors working against him and obviously is just getting started. And yes this did get really sad to try to rank after the top 4. Cam Newton Jake Delhomme Steve Beuerlein Kerry Collins Rodney Peete Sam Darnold Matt Moore Teddy Bridgewater Derek Anderson Kyle Allen Bryce Young Baker Mayfield PJ Walker Vinny Testaverde Chris Weinke David Carr Jimmy Clausen Andy Dalton Taylor Heinicke Frank Reich Will Grier Brian St. Pierre Matt Lytle Randy Fasani
  21. It would have been nice had they practiced this before the Seattle game
  22. I’d love to see it happen, believe me. I just have a hard time believing that Micah Parsons and company aren’t going to turn this into another game that looks like the two they played against the Giants. They tend to fatten up their record against bad teams, and well, that’s us.
