  1. I’d take the deal for Burns at this point. And make it just a 5th and I would think about trading for Jeudy.
  2. How does that compare with all OTs rather than just second year?
  3. Seems like stacking Dolphins would have good results overall this year
  4. Just because I am rooting for Young to succeed now, because he my team's quarterback does not have anything to do with CJ Stroud. I haven't said a single negative word about Stroud, ever and never once posted that I wanted Young over him. Like usual, you are reading words that are not on your screen, are generalizing from voices in your head. It's ok to admit when you are wrong sometimes.
  5. Since you've got the time on your hands, go back to November 2022 when I was arguing with people who were arguing that we shouldn't take Stroud because he went to Ohio State
  6. Nope, was in favor of Stroud. Doesn't mean I feel the need to go out of my way to poo on Young, after all he is the quarterback of the team I root for. Feel free to dig into my post history if you'd like. Nice subject change (again).
  7. You are changing the subject. You made the claim that people don't post PFF threads anymore in general and that there's no bias when they are (when it was brought up that Bryce had a good rating this week, but no thread was created). I point out that not only was last week's thread posted within minutes of the ratings coming out, the subject line even said Bryce was in the bottom 5, you attempted to handwave it away like it didn't exist even though you posted in the thread!
  8. Yeah, I'm sure you really didn't read that thread from last week and never saw it. Oh wait, guess who posted this in it: "Let's be honest if he were getting positive grades from PFF they would be getting posted in just about every thread about him. Every fanbase hates PFF when their team sucks"
  9. There in fact was a thread posted last week just a few minutes after the rankings came out and in the subject line had the title Bryce in the bottom 5 yet again. No ulterior motives eh?
  10. Only one I can think of is Dirk Koetter after Tampa fired Lovie Smith. That one didn't go too well!
  11. Tampa has also only played 5 games, so that helps Also, crazy that the only team in the NFL that's allowed more points than us is Denver
  12. Sorry - just now seeing this. This is really discouraging. I would have thought that whoever Tepper hired would have been with the program of knowing that they were going to draft a young QB and develop them - hearing that Reich wanted another retread which is what he kept doing repeatedly in Indy (and what we kept doing repeatedly here post Cam) makes me realize all over again that this is a mess.
  13. Unless Houston would have decided to completely punt on QB (which I doubt would have happened), he goes to the Colts at #4.
  14. Yeah it's not an easy decision now. It used to be something you'd chalk up to oh well, it's a bad season, we are in it for the long haul, etc. Don't expect any good advice in this thread though - you'll get judged because you don't want to walk away from how many ever thousands of dollars you threw out initially to have the right to buy those tickets at face value. They'll tell you that you support mediocrity and are part of the problem if you continue to buy the tickets and go to the games and that you should eat the cost of the PSLs to "send a message" which basically means that Tepper and co. can sell them to some other ticket broker or corporation. But if you sell your tickets to opposing fans to break even (because let's face it, there aren't Panthers fans who are paying face value these days), then it's your fault that there's no home field advantage and that is a contributing factor to us continuing to lose more games and then they'll move the team and god just be supportive, ugh. I've resigned myself to show up to the games and torture myself so that at least I won't have a cowboys fan buying $13 bud lights and having a good time which puts money in tepper's pocket - but do my eating and drinking before the game, buy nothing in the stadium.
  15. I think most of it revolves around what expectations were. 2011 team although it had some good pieces, it was after the 2-14 Clausen season where the team actually played worse than their record. While they upgraded the offense, the defense was complete dog poo. This year, the front office tried to sell us on the team being good enough that just dropping a QB in would be enough to make this a playoff team after how well they played down the stretch. Then there is the whole trade up and trading away of assets to get there. But what people don’t remember is that this board was drenched with people that also complained that Cam just put up stats and doesn’t win games even in his record setting rookie season. As stupid as this sounds now, there were a lot of people spamming the boards and pointing at Andy Dalton making the playoffs his rookie year as evidence that we should have taken a defensive player first and then gotten him later.
  16. Even weirder are the ones who defended Sam Darnold to the bitter end that are doing the same thing.
  17. He was genuinely questionable in week 1 with an ankle injury, maybe it’s possible that led to his slow start?
  18. It’s saying something that we are four pages in and there’s not a single mention of the Ian Thomas extension.
  19. Are you saying that Reich would have preferred signing Carr over drafting a QB?
