Cousins is a Viking, not a Lion. You might have been thinking of Jared Goff. Cousins had a fantastic system around him in Minnesota, I don’t see that translating here where he could put up those kind of numbers. Seems like he be a better fit on a team like the colts, Steelers, or broncos that has a ready made situation for a QB at his career stage.0

Rhule sucks, but for everyone pining for McCarthy, this is why you don’t want him.

The chargers would have put up a much better fight, wish that game ended in a tie

Zylstra?

We said the same thing about David Carr and Jimmy Clausen -
What Happens If We Strike Out on a Legit OC Hire?

He is. Broncos are asking to interview him, and he's been also linked to Vikings and Bears jobs too -

The recent assistant coaches that were fired were "Matt Rhule decisions" and not organizational decisions according to him -

Asked on the mid day show about if Jeff Nixon is a candidate for the OC job: "He did a great job for us..." I missed the rest of the quote because I was choking on my water that I was sipping -
I could see Darnolds forehead getting bigger as he ages but that’s about the only way he resembles Peyton Manning

What Happens If We Strike Out on a Legit OC Hire?

He’s got interviews already lined up with 3 teams already, definitely one of the hottest names out there. Jacksonville and Chicago are two of them meaning he’d either get to work with Lawrence or Fields. I’d think Jacksonville would make sense with him having made Blake Bortles look good. -
Brilliance on the timing of the music.

Matt Rhule on why Darnolds option was picked up

According to the guys on 610, Tepper is supposed to speak after we hire an OC -
“We are going to play physical football and are going to be an attacking offense and defense”

I am taking the 2022 season OFF as being a Panthers fan
X-Clown replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean there’s a whole thread on the front page with 11 pages created for fans that want discussion about being checked out, but this guy needs his own thread, because….reasons -
Actually, forgot about Fangio who got fired Saturday…that’s another one who beat rhule. Still keeps the average defeat above double digits.
-
Fun fact, all 3 fired coaches today plus the other coach most likely to get axed next (Joe Judge) all have beaten Matt Rhule by an average of two touchdowns
-
It's funny that these guys in one breath think that we need to see another dogshit season from Rhule/Darnold even though neither one of them have accomplished anything of note, yet they think it's 100% that the Vikings have to move on from Mike Zimmer/Kirk Cousins. Not that I disagree that Zimmer/Cousins have run their course like Rivera did here, but what have you seen from either of these two that scream out "Super Bowl contender in next 2-3 years"?

Rizzuti calling out Rhule on double standard
X-Clown replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s not even close IMO. They still have a high second round pick and two high third round picks (one that they got from us to take a player they didn’t want) and their QB is on a rookie deal. -
This sounds like a guy who will be great on rhules next coaching staff in the PAC 12
-
Nah, get Rhule the f out of here. New coaching staff can get assurances that we know we are fuged for 2022, but to play young players, with an eye towards 2023. Another year for Rhule leads to desperation on his part to try to even do more short sighted stuff, ie trade away future picks for current players like he did with darnold.
-
Just imagine if they have Aaron Rodgers then
-
Doubt a 4th round rookie QB is even worth it. Best player available that hopefully is another offensive lineman
