I don't want to take anything away from what C.J. Stroud and Houston have achieved this year but I want to wait and see what they do next year before saying they overachieved in 2023. or were just flat out that good.

Hire the best General Manager money could buy, let him select the best Coaches and Scouting Firms money could buy, then step back and let him prove he was worth the money. If this approach didn't work the first time I tried it, I would fire the General Manager and repeat the same plan until it did. -

Ejiro Evero was one of the few bright spots in the horrible 2023 season. I think the Panthers should hang on to him by giving him a promotion or big salary extension if he continues to excel this season.

My guess is the Panthers, like most teams that knew they would be needing new G.M.'s and H.C.'s, already had a wish list prepared way ahead of the actual firings.

Derrick Brown and Frankie Luvu are two really good football players, probably the best two on the team. The Panthers can ill afford to lose either one.

As long as Tepper likes Bryce Young he is safe. However, if Young starts to lose favor with Tepper, he will be gone in the blink of an eye. -
I suggest we keep him as a backup. I am not in favor of giving him away for nothing.

Tepper's firing GM Scott Fitterer was due and came as no surprise. I say good riddance to Fitterer and just hope that better days are ahead.
