*89 has Andre Johnson in yards and TDs. Plus his pro bowl special team work. That’s a dig at 89 by voters just not liking the personality. Wayne and Holt got rings and previously were finalist. So they aren’t as big of deal but Johnson?

Peppers statiscally might be the GOAT by a fair margin as is....if you look at the position from a well rounded aspect. Because he is top 5 in basically everything. The others aren't.

Peppers is top 5 all time in sacks, forced fumbles and INTs by a DE in NFL history. If it was a tracked stat then you probably could add FG blocks too. hard to call him underachieving. He simply had the same demeanor that DJ Moore has. And people see that and claim that must mean less effort than a guy that shows emotion. Peppers is our hall of fame lock by a large margin

It’s not protecting Cam. It was discussed when we signed Cam about how Rhule likely would burn him in the end. Because Rhule didn’t want him. can’t wait for Cam to one day retire. Take off his professional hat. And keep it a buck.

Reports were the Jets specifically took issue with Rhule wanting to bring in an all college staff. Yes, Rhule didn’t want Greg Williams. But I always took it that the primary deal breaker was Rhule not being willing to break away from his all college staff. Not that it had to be Williams.

Tepper got duped. Matt Rhule got two or so NFL interviews for the same reasons Joe Brady got them. NFL teams interview coaches that aren’t really qualified but are talked about. All NFL interviews aren’t that serious. The Jets essentially deemed Rhule unqualified and sent him back to college. Tepper/Hurney could of let Rhule get on that plane to NY. Giants weren’t going to hire him once they heard his masterplan for bringing his Baylor/Temple staff

And Saban has pro experience too. So in a Bama/Panther matchup. I’m taking Saban in terms of HCs.

He didn’t turn around Baylor. Baylor was a good program. 7 straight winning seasons prior to Rhule. Most of them double digits. Made it into the top 10 in each of the 4 seasons before prior to Rhule. yes, Baylor got punished and hammered. Yes, Rhule was there while they took that punishment. But they simply went right back to being Baylor. Big 12 champs before and after Rhule. Rhule gets way too much credit for that IMO.

Matt Rhule’s staff doesn’t have more sophisticated game planning and scheming vs Bama. I agree with most NFL teams there would be a massive difference though. It’s like if Bama’s staff all went to the pros….they suddenly don’t get a bump as more sophisticated because of the new job titles. that’s the main problem with our O. Rhule’s staff can’t gameplan and scheme at this level IMO.

We would win easily. Our D would overwhelm Bama. I think when you watched the highlight tape. Bama would have a few downs where their D on a occasion won downs vs our offense. The OL is that weak and Bama has enough soon to be NFL talent. And as stated above, Bama has the edge in coaching.

Matt Rhule isn’t even an awesome college coach. Matt Rhule makes Dabo Sweeney look like Vince Lombardi. Rhule didn’t do anything in college in reality. One crap conference title. That’s the whole resume.

1. Matt Rhule 2. Tie - Tommy Jone, George and Tepper 3. Remmers 4. John Kasay for a day 5. Keary Colbert post rookie season. It wasn’t just that he would drop balls like Robby….it was the smile after he did it.

Covid has teams duct taping themselves to keep from falling apart the last couple weeks and just be able to play. Saints, Chargers, Rams, etc. We had to close down yesterday. that could be a factor why coaches just get to ride this one out. Hard to add on to the struggle of this current covid outbreak that is hammering teams…by firing the HC on top of all that.

I’m sure the Saints will get a QB back by Sunday.

Meanwhile DJ Moore just logged his 3rd straight 1000 yard season with weak and musical chair QB play…. and he ain’t saying poo about fans booing
