I hate Clemson lost him. New guy does his best to mimic him but it’s not close

I think odds favor Clemson meeting them in the ACC title game. That will be a better defensive front (7) than a lot of playoff teams will have. They won’t have the DB play others do though

I think Dalton initially looks better. I suspect the Panther O looks a fair amount better this week. But then teams will get film on an old bad QB in this system……and eventually, Bryce Young gets the nod again. And Bryce will look slightly better. That’s it. Slightly better. Which will keep this org from making a clear cut move and just adding some slight competition the next year which equals…..the worse case scenario. He had his team bought into the long path. It’s all he talked about for some time. Theilen and everyone was there Sunday saying it. What changed was Canales got called to the Monday Morning meeting and then did a 180. And his tap dancing and non answers to a basic coaching decision (which could never admit to)….lets you know it was Tepper’s call.

Even the Panthers players believe it was Tepper per the article. literally everything point to it being Tepper There is nothing that support it being Canales outside of folks trying manifest it being normal in Carolina suddenly. It’s not. It’s the same poo show

The entire thing is a talent show and branding venture for the Sanders family Deion can’t do basic game managment. He does highlight my son managment the entire O is designed to stat pad his son. The reason the OL “sucks”‘ despite buying talent and playing in a weak conference….is they don’t run real run plays or attempt balance….and the QB holds the ball and takes sacks to keep his stats up and Deion will be exposed just like he was at Jackson St when he leaves after this year. It’s just a family thing.

It’s a double edge sword with Dabo….he plays more players than any coach in college football. He was onto backups and 3rd stringers in the 3rd quarter. But I think that hurts Clemson in the polling. Because dominate wins end up looking like less dominate as opponents score vs our depth

Not saying a 50 yarder was needed. Trevor and Watson would just consistently mix in. 5 yards here and there. There O hasn’t ever changed. That dynamic dried up. Made their predictable O much easier. DJ was too slow. Cade is fast enough to mix in.

That was missing week 1. Clemson’s offense has never worked without the QB run mixed.

Scott Fitterer and his team wanted Bryce Young. They sold Tepper on it. That always included Dan Morgan. Dan stayed to keep the Bryce thing alive since it was such a huge investment. Scott Fitterer fired for the poor job around Bryce. Dan got the gig to try to build something around Bryce that worked given the huge investement. I don't think Tepper cares about anyone or thing in term of football. Anyone can come and go. 2 games....Bryce Young was the Rock Hill practice facility. Tepper was done. That's the Tepper way. Canales had himself and team all ready to try to salvage Bryce. That's why postgame, Canales and his teammates were all in on Bryce Young. It all changed when Tepper spoke. And we know it wasn't Canales, because he was point blank asked about it all and could of easily said so (which is is what a coach should be able to say if they made the call). It was Tepper. Morgan should of seen the door with Fitterer.

we will just tell ourselves, that Clemson destroyed their confidence and souls. They were really good. but yeah, that hurts the mental mo of the fanbase going into this weekend.

Saban said what Saban was supposed to say. Hell, Dabo Swinney would find something nice to say about DJU if he entered the draft next year. If you do your job and be the man college coaches want you to be....they are going to have your back. Especially, the old style college coach. Now maybe this new age of pro ball won't carry that kind of loyalty because...well, it's not part of the deal.
