recent history says, college has no problem with David Tepper nightmares to come work in the semi pro league of college football. Rhule and Frank HCs.

I'd day the 2011 team was a dang good setup to drop a QB into. And by week 1 it certainly was. Pro Bowl LT, our most underrated OG of all time, Pro Bowl C. Pro Bowl WR. Pro Bowl RB. Added a savy old Pro Bowl TE and your promising Greg Olsen. That's a great setup. Carolina was nowhere near as bad going into our 2011 season as our draft placement suggested IMO. It just speaks to the power of a really bad QB (Jimmy Clausen)....that nukes everything and everyone from functioning. Because records were being rewritten starting week 1 of 2011

Coaches like Canales have to be paired w/ a gunslinger or elite QB. It's a story as old as time. Weak boring offenses need the aggressive chunk pass plays to compliment their O. You saw that in Tampa. You see that in his entire coaching tree. this is the frustrating part about the Panthers. All this stuff is day 1 stuff and he waste years figuring out the knowns.

Is anyone else now buying the idea Tepper has eyes on a Europe move??
CRA replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper has done great in Charlotte. He isn’t going anywhere. * Tepper is here to diversify his investments and continue to grow his mass wealth. Being “good” at football is just a fun novelty for him as his wealth grows -
This is what really has hurt the team. From 2022 to date, the painfully bad way we went about dumping all our draft resources into the O vs the D. 1st and 2nd round resources all went to the O. 2022 1st on Icky *no 2nd 2023 1st on Bryce 2nd on Bryce 2nd on Mingo 2024 1st on Bryce 2nd and 5th on XL 2nd on a RB 2025 1st on TMac 2nd - Edge defender

How I play the team rebuild and Bryce Young if I was the GM

Clearly we are being punished by a higher power. I merely say the stars are aligned for that nightmare. -
How I play the team rebuild and Bryce Young if I was the GM

I think we are destined for the other Giants QB - a big Canales connection. - and I can’t stand Russell Wilson so it seems like destiny. -
I remember that was a very heavily debated pick at the time it was made. Panthers outsmarting themselves too often.

those Monday morning Tepper meetings going to age a man

New York Times: Is Panthers QB Bryce Young a Lost Cause
CRA replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
as anything put roster depth and a backup? Yes. -
These guys nail the basics on Bryce/Canales/Carolina

Deep throws are there. You insert a different QB and that QB just looks to execute them. We have seen that every year when Bryce gets benched. Datlon will push the D back and crank it 30 or 40+. Issue is Dalton is just washed. -
problem w/ the Phins and Jets games....is they have dynamic runners on the ground. Both teams got dudes that can take it to the house from 80 out
-
100%. Phins not having Hill though will make life drastically different for our defense. But they got Waller, Waddle, and Achane is probably more than they can handle. Need a bad Tua game.
-
These dudes just phoning in content. This is the better version of Bryce? Oh lawd, wait til he hits a bad streak lol

Tyreek Hill carted off the field last night was a bad knee injury

Jack Not the Snake Plummer!!!!

If you give him a year 3, you can’t let him draft a QB with the first pick
-
Bryce Young has the 3rd worst win % in NFL history (min 30 starts) https://x.com/stevereedap/status/1972686455433527339?s=46

I mean, the Harbaugh brothers, Campbell, Vrabel, etc are all coaching. The NIL era kids really haven’t made it to the NFL yet
-
I think the odds of losing are so high, that Canales clearly plays not to lose if things even go remotely our way in a game.
-
I just don't want to see him hung out there and blown up. Just seems to have decent odds of that being what would go down. Good luck Jimmy.

To quote Cam Ward. "If we keeping a buck right now, we ass"

I think about the only thing you can do is when they go empty in some of those heavy WR sets.....trot him out there for those looks and run a crosser for him and give him a shot if he has room to run. I mean if we are attempting to set him up for success. Dude is just so small and inexperienced. You can't have scenarios where he could be forced into run blocking and he most definitely isn't ready for life on the outside. I was hoping we could phase him in w/ Renfrow late this year but it doesn't look like Canales can adapt his O to that type of slot WR (and Bryce does struggle w/ throws to small guys it appears). I think odds are Jimmy would deal w/ a bad ball worse than Renfrow, just in terms of personal safety.

the smaller the player, the higher the odds of a hospital ball.

you can dive deep enough into analytics where it will lie and you can find whatever you want to find.
