  1. Does not matter really what you call him because he is screwed either way. He isn't good enough to overcome the ownership, FO and coaches and nothing is going to magically improve this offseason with the same people in charge. Ok. Now trade him for what they spent. I'll wait on his current value. Nothing definitive but a sure gauge of which way that is going. He had a bad game on Sunday. OK, it happens. Look at his best and it's a huge let down to very concerning. Combine that with the fact he is already screwed regardless and none of this is surprising.
  2. With how the stadium crowd looked I'm not sure you couldn't call it a home game for them anyways.
  3. I guessed he would do the polar opposite after Rhule and hire an old NFL coach with just as many peoblems and he went for Frank. He isn't afaid to make moves but please show me a good move he has made? The stuff Tepper values is not producing good football, that's the trend with him.
  4. Anyone with a brain would chose that at this point but I need to see it to believe Tepper chose that path. That is my dream scenario so it's not going to happen. He will hire to make Bryce what he thought he was and it's not going to change a damn thing in any positive ways for Bryce or us.
  5. And it was known when they signed him that he has never played a full season of games in 5 years...
  6. SF can't draft or sign well and Frank isn't a HC much longer either in weeks or years. There are zero benefits to keeping both but the firing is also more complicated than the owner can handle. It would be easy to say fire them all but who is replacing them and how do you get anyone decent to take the job under more than 'just try and build Bryce up'. If they hire specifically to protect the choice to trade up for Bryce then it is just more of the same and any good option would make the most of what they have anyways. I would love to see them all fired, the entire FO and staff. I do not trust any plans beyond that step.
  7. Yup. I don't see a good path and I see lots of bad options goinng forward. Fans are still stuck on 'just build around him like Miami did' but that is just insane to hear when they clearly already have and this was their foundation of that dream. The future of the team doesn't rely on Young, the people who picked him do. Even with all they spent on him they could just eat the pain and move along with egg on their face. The people who picked him can't until it turns around or they are fired. And then there is Tepper and that is it's own nightmare. He is a gunslinger and he would turn it over some with a much better oline. At least for a little while at best.
  8. The need to justify picking him is a real problem. If not then switch back the oline blocking. Can't. It would harm Bryce so keep having really bad play and just blame the oline that they built for their new QB. Owner, FO/Coaches and then having to justify that pick is the chain of blame for the offense in my eyes. None of that is Bryce's direct fault, even with his meh play, but he also can't get away from it either. In a way he is the center of the offensive problems, not him personally but all that he is tied to that has led to the corner they put themselves in. IDK a hostage to the Owners', FO's and coaches' mistakes may be a better way of putting it. They can't even sit him 'to grow' without taking a massive beating.
  9. The early years right after Haslam bought it. 9 years to put 1 winning season together and is just now working on the second one since 2012.
  10. This place has been more fun and relevant to Panther's football to me then anything on the field for years.
  11. Yup. Again, they are close friends so it was all done together. Just saying no to the Sanders contract would have given me pause but Bell and AT are not enough for me to justify the rest. They both epically missjudged the oline situation in a scheme swap. That is nail for me personally.
  12. I thought Fritterer was the draft guy and Morgan was the pro guy. They are friends and built this year together at the hip...
  13. Chances should be earned and so far he won't be missed either. Tepper only hires yes men who sling BS for him. I can't identify one person inside the organization that doesn't fit that mold. I was hopping that was Morgan but his work with his friend this year was massive garbage. AT and Bell were the positives while the rest was all failures. Training up people is a great philosophy...when there is a good environment for it. That is not what Tepper turned the Panthers into so there really isn’t a reason to pretend this time is different with Morgan.
  14. Letting anyone stay that has to justify past moves is a really bad move with the current problems. The only way to guarantee meaningful change is to allow it to happen. Fritterer deserves a shot is becoming Morgan has only been here 2 years.
  15. Morgan helped build this roster so he needs to go also. No one should be spared from the needed house cleaning. Or just drag today's problems into tomorrow again.
  16. There is nothing elite about Young. He is just another college kid that peaked before he was drafted and will jump around the league as a backup until he retires at best. None of the hype was real. His school film was vastly misrepresented, proready to needs to work on his footwork or sit and learn. All the preseason fluff they have spent weeks trying to roll back. His physical abilities should have been under a microscope but it was all just pushed under the rug of 'special'. He singlehandedly proved the S2 is as bad or worse than the test before. They could bring in a 3rd round QB next year and push him for his job. Any decent backup like Andy is just flat out a better option if your trying to win and not justify that rediculously stupid trade and pick.
  17. We are picking top 5 until meaningful change happens and anyone that can sell Tepper on a new thing can change everyone's values. We picked a LT at 6 then turned him into a bust by picking a QB that can't play in his strengths. That is a team that is going to keep picking high for a long time.
  18. Once the people who drafted him are fired then he is just another replaceable player on a bad roster or they keep trying to build a SB team around him and keep failing.
  19. All Tepper does is make poor choices. WTF has he got lined up next?
