Go back and look at your original statment that I quoted twice and why I posted proof agaisnt it. You keep focusing on the Begals game that did disprove your statement and on the rest of the article that really is not relavant but not the 49ers link. The Browns didn’t care and it didn't help him keep his job there and that is part of how we got him on a big discount. His issues are a known quantity along with his upside. It's a package deal, it is who he is and always has been. It is also what this thread is literally about.

Would have been great to fire Rhule and taken advantage of how weak our division has become with good coaching. I would still be shocked if we could climb higher than 3rd this year. Maybe next year.
-
I was disproving your statement which was false and all you can do is deflect, avoid and then insult. Still avoiding the fact you were wrong? That's cool but it is still a fact now.
-
I know you are try to focus on the Browns vs Bengals record but that wasn't the point or really relevant.
-
I would be thrilled if he just brought in a partial owner that had any idea of what they were doing in the NFL...
-
And the other was made by a SF fan? Look at the score a little closer in that one. In the end your statement was factually incorrect.

Because it is cheap and easy fan engagement without any real commitment that gets fan data that they can use...if they really give a fug which is debatable at this point.

5 to 7 wins. We get some early and then it dries up again like last year. If we lose to the Browns then all bets are off and it's going to get ugly.
-
If he can make the game day active roster, contribute some and improve over the year I would be happy with the trade. Expecting this guy to come in and do more than that is a bit more than I can do after watching Henderson struggle last year but take a step this year.

Used to love walking to a friends tailgate and crossing where the players came in and seeing the greats walk their way into the stadium, especially in 2015. Tepper is a POS. It's time to accept that fact. Maybe one day he will be better at football but he is a full-blown POS.

To Real fast. Maybe don't do that to a rookie LT in his first start? It's OK, I'm sure they will forget all about it on Sunday.
-
We are still waiting for one to be hired. Maybe next time?

You ain't wrong tho. There is over-hype in the air again. If the Browns use this as the fire that takes away a game the Panthers desperately need to win then it's going to get really interesting in Pantherland.
-
Everyone knows what he wants to do after how things went down in Cleveland. Meh, whatever he is on the spot now lol but I applaud you walking head first into pre first season game hype.
-
It says he is on a rookie contact and they have the luxury of keeping an overpaid QB they are familiar with. He went from $24 to $6.5. It also says Jimmy G knows the end is near.

Baker Could Be our “Brees”
Waldo replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
Baker has always been his own biggest problem, not his shoulder. Let's see what he looks like in week 8 before talking about beyond this year. -
It’s been less than two months since we traded for Mayfield…..
Waldo replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
It was going to be hard to not find a better QB than Sam this offseason, that guy should never have been made a QB and teams should have seen it before he was drafted. If they can keep Baker upright he will put some points on the board though I am not expecting him to carry wins. I still don't think he will make it through the year without him showing the Baker that got his team to look anywhere else but if we are lucky we can use him as a bridge QB to a young stud we pick up in the next draft. If he asks for too much money and years then let him walk and find a new bridge. Keep drafting QBs and hope this next draft has better offerings than the last. -
Not trying to beat the guy down but he is really unplayable. Wildcat is probably more productive than what we saw last year. The wasted cap he represents is just the burden of a terrible decision to pull the trigger on a contract decision that they should have sat on given the circumstances. Rhule loves him some PJ. Problem solved lol
