  1. A tank season without the hope of a rebuild that is so desperately needed. They are going to try and build around Bryce and it's going to be more embarrassment and failure. Maybe next year lol. We could have a few coming down the pipeline if the current level of team building competency holds.
  2. Kind of like the home games? The Dallas game is going to be it's own kind of protest and that one should be effective in its embarrassment.
  3. That, Big Daddy and the waterboy were his best. All childish but funny.
  4. Pickles was the worst QB I have ever seen. I am so underwhelmed with everything Bryce is but even I can't say they are similar. The outcome may be similar but that has everything to do with them going 'all in on Bryce' and not just calling it what it is, a huge mistake they need to own so they can then move forword with some shred of competency. Keep trying to build around Bryce at the team's expense and tank next year also.
  5. It's like hiring an atomic bomb to work for Mr Magoo. It's so obvious what the outcome is already. A young guy gets time and is actually learning vs an old hand who will have to produce ASAP. This team isn't going to be fixed in one season and that is what those expectations become day 1. They don't have the talent or resources to do a one year turn around, being semi competent by the end of next year is the most hope I could scrape together at this point.
  6. Owners can't fire themselves. There is probably a strategy meeting about where the blame should go because they are all clueless. Expect more not less at this point. Tepper had a hand in it or he could blame someone for this mess but in the end it always starts with him.
  7. From one mistake to the next. Or just beg amd overpay Ben to come on down. Miami has one too. Hard pass on that here. The only fun to be hard would be watching him and Tepper fight for a year before he was fired.
  8. The idea of just building around him while ignoring how bad it looks when they try to play to hos 'strengths' is beyond incompetent. Bust or not, good people get anything they cam out of what they have. They are not trading him so somebody needs to let him try and run an offense that isn't designed to cover up his limitedness at the expense of the rest of the team for at least 1 more year.
  9. Well it's not going to change if they keep running the same limited offense. Replace 1 guy vs 4 guys who have actually looked good for a long stretch last year? Im going with the 4 guys every time.
  10. Build a competent O and let him compete in 24. They have 4 guys on the oline that can play well in another approach. Do that now and let him try his hand from undercenter a little.
  11. Any team can underprepare when facing a pushover so it's possible. I'm not expecting anything to get better beyond another team laying a turd on Sunday maybe. 1 or 2 wins looks like a lock as long as Fritterer and Rhule still hold positions. An interim HC could make changes and pull a couple of wins but I'm not expecting that much competency or deviation from the failed plan they put together in the offseason.
  12. They are already dead it's just about the when now. They will sputter some more and a move will have to be made. I don't see any rally coming for that team.
  13. Trying to build around Bryce is a dead end. Just play Dalton and run what works with the oline. Doing more in the wrong direction will just end in more failures. Just admit they made a huge mistake is the first step in trying to improve things.
  14. I still can't believe the hype that man got here. It never made sense to me. He was so not good in Indy and he looks worse in Carolina. The desperation post-Rhule drove people blind.
  15. There isn't anyone hired or on the roster worth building around. Just work with what they have in 24 and build better, not around past mistakes.
  16. Need to emphasize 'hire a consultant' because he isn't capable of just doing better. This is who he is.
  17. Tepper has a long long list of regrets already after 5 years. Not sure Wilks makes it up very high on that list. The HC he just faced should be higher than Wilks on that list.
  18. There has to be a PS OG out there that is worth a try over the Thockproblem.
  19. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/ufa/guard// Pick one and start there would be my approach.
  20. Does not matter really what you call him because he is screwed either way. He isn't good enough to overcome the ownership, FO and coaches and nothing is going to magically improve this offseason with the same people in charge. Ok. Now trade him for what they spent. I'll wait on his current value. Nothing definitive but a sure gauge of which way that is going. He had a bad game on Sunday. OK, it happens. Look at his best and it's a huge let down to very concerning. Combine that with the fact he is already screwed regardless and none of this is surprising.
  21. With how the stadium crowd looked I'm not sure you couldn't call it a home game for them anyways.
  22. I guessed he would do the polar opposite after Rhule and hire an old NFL coach with just as many peoblems and he went for Frank. He isn't afaid to make moves but please show me a good move he has made? The stuff Tepper values is not producing good football, that's the trend with him.
  23. Anyone with a brain would chose that at this point but I need to see it to believe Tepper chose that path. That is my dream scenario so it's not going to happen. He will hire to make Bryce what he thought he was and it's not going to change a damn thing in any positive ways for Bryce or us.
