Patriots call and offer a 2nd for Bryce
Jay Roosevelt replied to toldozer's topic in Carolina Panthers
fug this thread and fug the Patriots. -
Bryce is throwing with pissed off energy lol
-
Defense getting drug up and down the field, of course. If we had today's offensive output last week we'd have won.
-
This is what I've been saying. Yes, he's thrown 2 picks, but he's also shown more flashes today than we've seen so far. That's how rookie QBs develop, not by handing the ball off and throwing bubble screens every other play.
-
Between Chuba and Laviska there's no reason for Miles Sanders to touch the ball again this season.
-
Yeah, I hate to say it under the circumstances but it's true.
-
Why kick a field goal there? Show some balls.
-
Yeah, at least he was trying to make a play. I can live with those as long as he learns from them. The screen pass INT was MUCH more frustrating to me.
-
You could say he's MILES ahead of Sanders... Sorry; trying to find something to laugh at during this mess.
-
Somebody has to be fired after this game.
-
Get Sanders out of here.
-
Can we please run the ball just ONCE out of a formation other than shotgun?
-
Damn, this must be real serious. Is Zavala moving? I didn't see anything obvious.

Panthers GMs Draft History After Round 1 (Analysis)
Jay Roosevelt replied to Jay Roosevelt's topic in Carolina Panthers
1) I agree nobody after the 3rd round should be considered a bust, which is why I called that category "Busts/Misses." You can still miss on a pick without the player being a bust. 2) The point of this was to analyze the GMs, not make one look better. Personally I'm not a Gettleman fan, but he was the best of the three in terms of drafting after the 1st round. Unfortunately he's also the best at missing in the 1st round. He's also the worst in terms of overall team building and management of the roster, IMO. -
Panthers GMs Draft History After Round 1 (Analysis)
Jay Roosevelt replied to Jay Roosevelt's topic in Carolina Panthers
Mostly just my opinion, but I tried to be as broad as possible so the results would be as objective as possible. Basically the formula I used was: PLUS STARTERS: Good, great, or elite players who became key starters for us. SOLID PLAYERS: Decent players who were starters for an extended period of time or played key roles for us. CONTRIBUTORS : Players who were lower-level starters or who provided solid depth/special teams value. BUST/MISSES : Players who never contributed much of anything or anything at all. -

The numbers tell a different story. So do the number of wins. In that category Fitterer is by FAR the worst. -
Panthers GMs Draft History After Round 1 (Analysis)

Check the spreadsheet link; it has each player color coded. No, trades were not considered. This is purely based on draft success after round 1. Mostly just my opinion, but I tried to be as broad as possible so the results would be as objective as possible. Y'all realize D.J. would be putting up Adam Thielen numbers if he were still here, right? The OL is a FAR bigger problem than WR so far.

Would probably be an improvement.
