What is there to learn from Cam? What took Cam out is him trying to make a tackle on an intercepted ball. What finished the job was a hit by TJ Watt, in the pocket.

This is for all the guys and girl saying he quit lol. A hilarious, yet awful, take. Lamar has put his body on the line for his team his entire career. Gotta look out for you at some point, because these owners and front offices will cut you when it’s beneficial for them.
-
It sucks, but he’s doing the right thing by not playing. Can’t fool around with that knee. With that being said; there is little chance Baltimore wins this without their best player. Anything could happen, though.

Panthers receive permission to interview Sean Payton
AggieLean replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have a feeling a Panther/Payton mashup would turn out terrible. I wouldn’t give up any picks for him. -
This is why you have to look at the entire picture, and all stats afforded to you when making decisions. Taysom Hill has a high passer rating, but we also have stats that tell us how many passes he’s actually thrown. What’s his TD/INT ratio, etc. With everything we have, we’re able to determine he might not be the best QB to put all your eggs in a basket. Same goes for David Carr and our defense. David Carr had the highest completion %, but there were other stats that lead us to know he wasn’t really all that. As for going by eyes, and “wisdom”. How do we determine whose eyes are able to judge what they’re seeing out on the field properly? Wisdom? lol. All that is subjective, and this route leads to the biases and prejudices we’ve seen in the league both past and present ruling over decisions.

Going to say what I said in the other thread: nah, I’m good.
-
That opinion is probably shared by many who don’t like Lamar. That poster just isn’t shy about saying it, while others try to be a bit more tactful.
-
Can you explain how he is a worse version of Cam? His passing numbers eclipses Cams.
-
Lamar would be foolish to go back out there if his knee is not 100%. End up like RG3, and the same fans saying he quit will simply come on messageboards and say they’re sorry it happened. They can’t give him the millions he’d miss out on. Shannon Sharpe had it right, and it looks like Lamar is listening to him.
-
Well, how do you judge him?
-
I don’t think this is true, at all.
-
We know. Believe me, we know.

These guys and girls want “honor” from one side. When the other side is dishonorable, they explain it away “well, atleast the player got something.” Again, the Ravens organization wouldn’t even be in the playoffs if it wasn’t for Lamar playing the time he did. We see things fell apart once he left. He showed just by sitting out, that he is worth what he’s asking. Ultimately, this is the route I’d like the organization to take. Draft a guy in the first, and let’s rock on.
-
While Shannon Sharpe is one who says Lamar is right in what he’s doing. In fact; he says he’d do the same.
-
That team wouldn’t even be in the playoffs if he sat out the year. Lol at leaving them in a bad position. Every play in the NFL is a risk, indeed. That’s the reason he’s sitting out. He wouldn’t get the contract he’s looking for if he had an injury that went into the next year.
-
I don’t know. You should ask owners and team front offices that question when they just up and cut players. If they’re able to do that, I see no issue with a player using the little power they do have to get the contract they feel they deserve.
-
lol at “quit on his team” Knew that narrative would come. Lamar was generous to even suit up for them to start the year, knowing he was trying to get the big contract. Once he got a scare, he was smart to shut it down. Other NFL players agree. I’d love Lamar, and would be willing to part with 2 1sts, but anything more, I’m ok with going the draft route. Willing to give up a bit more to move up in the draft

Tepper enamored with Ben Johnson per Person
AggieLean replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Settle down, Tepper. I like Johnson, as well, but please go through the process. Also, please no more 7 year deals. Give whoever you hire a 3 or 4 year deal -
Yep, we would know.
-
Yea, this is over.
-
Looks like I might’ve spoke too soon. You got this one lol
-
I hope they lose. It’s bad enough, for our draft position, that they made the playoffs
-
Not doing too well since you said this

Seattle gone stick with Geno. He’s a late bloomer, but he’s legit.
