I understand the frustration, I just don’t understand the confusion. Stroud was always the more pro ready pick. I don’t understand drafting young and being surprised that it is going to take some time and development. I really don’t understand the owner having a knee jerk reaction about it and trying to get us a top level wide out. This will surely cost us even more future draft picks. I don’t think you could bring the top 2 receivers in the league here and it make much of a difference this season.

If we trade down we are saying we trust Matt rhule to evaluate players. I don’t. Let’s draft a dude at 6. Happy with any O lineman. All indications are this kid is the Andrew luck/Trevor Lawrence of Centers. I can deal with that type of prospect despite positional value.

I know this is not the point of this thread, but my favorite draft prospect is that center from Iowa. Big time position of need for us as well. I’d argue more than tackle.

I have a positive: cam was literally reading off a wristband. You could tell he didn’t even have the terminology of the offense totally down yet. I’m sure we couldn’t check much. Despite this we didn’t even approach a delay of game penalty, except for the one that was wiped off. We always seemed to struggle getting plays in on time during his previous tenure. Nice to see that was a coaching error. Also noticed Washington just so happened to have a few of those.

I would have been fine with the punt. Would have been fine with going for it. Wasting the time out is what pissed me off. the way that went down showed his offense he didn’t have confidence in them, then he sent them out anyway after getting booed. He was either feeling the pressure from 75,000 people that paid 100 bucks to get in, or he knew he was going to have to answer to tepper. Neither of those things should be affecting him.

My concern isn’t even that the opposing fans are there. But between the enormous number of opposing fans, the new group that is running security, and is noticeably less involved, and the more “adult” atmosphere, promoting beer sales and whatnot, it’s creating quite an atmosphere on gamedays. I gotta say, it was loud and awesome for the first couple games in ways it previously wasn’t until the playoffs. But since we started struggling I have seen flying drinks, fighting, the video from the bathroom a few weeks back and all kinds of stuff. I’m not clutching the pearls, it’s just a very different atmosphere. The Patriots fans weren’t singing the goodbye song at panthers fans leaving, there was a brawl up in the 500 level and the panthers fans had to be moved out of that section. That’s when they started singing. I have really thought twice about wanting the wife/kids at these games these days.
