  1. He's in the building and I heard after one of Dave pressers reference Eric. He made dave some 3rd down models and success rate of certain play calls. The many details too much to list. You know Tepper is a analytics guru, he finally got one of the biggest NFL analytic brains in Eric. Will it = success ??? No clue, but you got to believe they are using his models. Best I recall Eric was a founding member of PFF and worked there for 4 or 5 years, then did consulting around 2022, and tepper gave him a huge bag and what ever job title he wanted. Personally I have never cared for PFF, its just like another forum members opinion. I do not follow the NFL like a hardcore fan and my opinion of PFF has changed some. If I don't have any clue on a player, using the PFF report is a ok start.
  2. No one knows who the jags or jets are going to pick. Each have been link to about 10 different players and need each one of them.
  3. Ive heard teams cherry pick certain insider mocks. Josh Norris in 2021 got 16 picks right, anything over 8 is near impossible. https://underdognetwork.com/football/other/josh-norris-final-2021-nfl-mock-draft Huddle report shows the last five years- https://www.thehuddlereport.com/mock-draft-scores Bunch of guys you never heard of are on top, check out the top big board too. Some guessers are able to get 85 out of 100 on the reg. Brandt and Dan should look into this, its free and somewhat insightful.
  4. Pure luck pays off, recently Ive had poor recall... If mahomes didn't land with Reid or another offense guru, those Bills players would be the better choice. I think something has been framed out, just depends on how those first 7 picks go. Saints could trade up and wreck the plan, but they are trading up for sanders/dart so LOLOLOLOLOL.
  5. You need to remind chatgpt that Pitt doesn't have its 2nd round from the DK trade.
  6. That's just our current hand, its unfortunate. No easy solution and damned if you, damned if you don't. Signing each is less wrong... Just wait until BY is up for a contract..... horn and icky will be nothing and each is super nerve wrecking...
  7. I think there is a lane in which, Icky is moved over to RT after this season. CHeaper and better fit. Panthers use an early pick on LT and the whole huddle becomes a biatch fest and mods cry.
  8. it is different, but each is a similar big factor in the contract. It's similar in the risk too, either contract could haunt the Panthers. Benching Icky or injuried Horn would be a serve gut punch. Icky did play better and horn did play 16 or 15 games. My main reason is to hit the reset on LT after spending 6th overall and 4years of training, its just too much. It's not like he sucks or 28th rank LT. He's still young, pay and pray.
  9. Just like the Horn deal, you got to gamble that they will live up to the contract. It's not an easy choice, but pay him and pray its the right move....
  10. What about when the chiefs traded up malhomes? I think it was 27+3rd+future 1st for 10th overall, it was hidden that QB was the target. We know if QB are in discussion, the price goes up and at times the chart is tossed out. 600 points using the rich hill model, I feel you must included the future 1st, which is devalued due to its one full year away and Pitt will be drafting 26-30. Pitts 21st + 3rd + 2026 1st, I honestly want MORE. I don't think its crazy if you are talking QB. They need to at least toss in 2026 3rd and a decent player for me to agree. There's NO other option for them or other teams wanting dart or sanders, so pay up!!
  11. the last six years of suck have hurt me too, friend.
  12. I think I will stand on this for my final dream draft. regret I didn't add a better safety, but the defense front is fixed.
  13. This plus RB(simply deep large pool) TE('''' and need/want) WR(need speed or fear) that's Brandt's&Dan's 9 draft picks in a dream deal. I can see them bypassing CB/NB in favor of two edges. 2026 needs starterS, this is the perfect draft. Chau Smith-Wade should be ready for NB duties, they waived vet troy hill for him. Then put a bow on this class with another aggessive UDFA group. Be nice to land another Coker, rayum, and Richardson type of talents. Use teppers money and give out some 100,000 guarantees .... I feel there is 15 open spots for the 53. 9 draft picks, 3 UDFAs, and 3 surprises/claims/2024 PSers/_____ Then you have your 2025 Carolina panthers!!!!
  14. If they drafted grant, Schwesinger, and Kennard in rounds 2-3, IDGAF about the rest of the draft. Those 3 should make this draft a clear winner and infuse talent on this soft-ass defense. Now to poop on the dream, 99.99999% each of them will be drafted before they were in this draft. Nice dream tho..
  15. Personally I feel you need to be fluid each draft year in regards to that years main tiers and overall pool. Find the best scouts and Trust your big board. This will guide you to being a yearly winner. Many say it, but no one truly does BPA. Example if I was running the Panthers this year, starting with that 3rd, if there was a OG I feel was HOFer and he's still there in 3rd....I would draft him. There's injuries and sooo much turn over, lewis or hunt could be on a different team in 26. Just take the clear best player, if you need a DT and he's 80 and the OG is 83...its ok to "break" the golden rule and fill a big hole. Laugh if you want, but I was a FF king when I followed the league. One of the methods I learnt was as each round passes, add/focus/target more up-side. Again most drafts have different talent levels, but after the early 4th(115th) take more risk and go for broke. It's something like 5-7% success rate after that 115, take a risk on trouble or injuried player.... you just gave your odds of having a successful season a boost....thus you keep winning and keep making $$$.... If that player doesn't work out, well so did 94% of the other teams players.
  16. I feel the plan should be to have christ take over for moton after this season. He's 2 years younger and plenty fresh. Nothing wrong with discussing what to do with motion this year or after. Who knows, get them Wharton's jelly cells in him and resign him for 3 more years. There's loads of options on this and we are on a football discussion forum...
  17. dan seemed more nervous than normal and gave away more than normal tired GM quotes. He knows the main goal, add talent. That's all I care about.
  18. He was a 3 star guy recuit In 2022 he was 3rd string. 2023 he had a 15% drop rate 2024 he was the whole offense and super stud Both of youz guyz have made up minds, his whole resume is one peak at the end. He wasn't talked about in drafts until this year, even then during January on many mocks he was listed among 3rd rounds. Then the rocket happens... This is one weird flawed draft, Im just pointing out warrens history and facts. along with piss poor TE draft history and his 5th year leap after being a forgotten member. Sorry he's your fav...
  19. "type" of haul. I think there's a 1st, 2-3rd this year and future 1st 2-3rd. That's the BY package minus DJ Moore. If Steelers believe in either dart or Sanders, it would be worth it for them. They always draft in the 20s and sorta stuck in 10 win playoff 1st round playoff exit zone... No QB and they just might as well go all-in after the DK trade. FYI George Pickens is heavily rumored to be traded.... it worked out Soo well for the Panthers the last WR trade...
  20. My main think about the saints is no matter who trades up= Panthers win saints lose Saints use a few of their 3s and 4s and future picks to trade up to #4. They just trade assets for either Dart or sanders LOLOLOLOLOLOLz = Panthers win(same for nfc south) Panthers get a BY haul for trading 8. Panthers hopefully pick form the vast pool of DE, DT, TE, edge and add talent. Panthers wins and saints have to start old age Hill at QB.
  21. https://www.si.com/nfl/nfl-takeaways-unlikely-shedeur-sanders-goes-to-browns-giants#_6a42oiyov Update- more insight..... its fugly. It seems carr mainly came for Dennis Allen, then he was fired and the saints wanted to try to avoid paying the past can kicking one more year. They didn't ask Carr about if he wanted to stay, just did a new deal. Carr's shoulder flared up right after. Seems they should have cut him, just a move that will haunt them for years.....just LOL
  22. Im surprised Gettlegut took Joe persons call for this piece.
  23. I believe there's two plans for the panthers. Plan A- land a BY type of haul for a trade back. OR Plan B- Draft a georgia dog at 8. Disaster Plan no trade back and no georgia dog. Draft either Tmac or Tyler Warren
