It just depends on what information these team believe. He was a former wrestler, they are know for using gas..... Dropping 25-35 LBs is sus no matter. The kicker was Michigan recorded his weight weekly and it was around 320-330 per coaches on the staff. Ankle injury or whatever, he still shouldn't lost that much that soon. You still lift and rehab and hell, players gain weight as well. It's something that needs more time and the truth will reveal. Hes not the first to gas it up while in college.

I don't have a Twatter or X account, never have. they don't share replies and current posts since the change years ago. Honestly it one of my main reason for coming here, Juan, ice, Frank, carlivin, Scott, etc would post the link that they thought are worth sharing. That X place was a true cesspool and bots glare, its gotten alittle better, still not enough for me to make a account. Hold on, I did make account to attempt contract brain surgeons cause my father had surgery. Didnt lookup nothing else.

He's also has some return abilities too. I don't think he should be the top guy, but he's decent insurance.

Panthers sign Jaycee Horn to $100 million dollar deal

I could be wrong, but I took the readings as they converted some or part of base salary into a signing bonus and "kicked" half of into a void year as add-on. Guess we need to see the details. Base for 2025= 3.6 turn into signing bonus and add void 2026 year. Its 1.6 this year and the "dummy" year. The cap is going up and should continue, so so that 1.6 next year will have less of % cap effect (tiny but still).
-
Hell both of us are probably right. plus I thought Brandt and Dan were against using the old ways of kicking the can down the road?? I do see if you roll over the 1.6million to next next year, a small benefit... but it seems they already spent it.

I thought it was for Moore?

***rumor*** There are records that graham played at 320 during the year, he gets to the combine and weighs in at 296. He and his team claim its cause he suffered an injury that prevented him from working out. I heard he got off the PEDs. I dont know which teams are buying the excuses.

Tetairoa McMillan aka Tmac (lazy typer) the other above posts are about shemar stewart. The guy struggles with bending and moving left-right. -

Im still riding that bus with 8thTmac, but combine times are all on the same surface with the same air/wind. Its even for everyone. On your "home" track times can vary .3 both ways. Im sure the current panthers group has some sort of computer program that can overlay on games and tell that speed. There are reports he ran 22mph, that's elite. also to note, he is 6'4 220 and not 5'7 160 like many 4.5 guys. I hope he's makes to 8th. -

NP, I was also petty dang high on him too. I wouldn't support using the 8th now, 2nd is still too rich, but that 3rd would just right. It seems teams have labeled him "development" and also slid him down boards too. There's always some DL coach that swears he can "fix" him too, so he may still go in the late 1st. -
Panthers sign Jaycee Horn to $100 million dollar deal

Hes never finished a season, that's a issue. He's had two big injuries, I am willing to classify his chest injury as being "out of his control". You can be a dawg or super tough guy, but if your bones are brittle or tendons are weak, your body will fail. Again I have some friends in the strength community, only 2 players have I heard glowing reports without even asking- CMC and Horn. Horns problem was the same as CMCs, too much training= too much stress= injuries. Finding that balance is only for rare chosen, most these players are lazy and coast on gifts. Horn was a 8 year pro day one. Im a fan and enjoyed his seat belt playmaking, but Im a fan of players on the field. It seems a big portion of his money is tied to GP and I hope he earns it all. -
Reading the Tea Leaves: What Did Morgan Just Tell Us?
Basbear replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep, might as well start the process now. I personally would avoid this and focus on the 20 other issues, but that could blow up in your face. Try to find a UDFA diamond and grow him with a year spent on PS. He missed games for the first time with knee and elbow issues. Plus if you look around the league at non-STers, 31 is classified as a fossil.... -
Panthers Prospect Visits/Meetings (Final Update-4/22)

That's part of the deal, Shemer didn't do any of the drills. All he did was measurables stuff- https://www.nfl.com/prospects/shemar-stewart/32005354-4580-1492-6181-fbdcbaa932bc Some players are straight line players, but the field is 53.3 yards wide. That side2side movement is just as important if not more. Remember Taylor Mays and vernon gholston, they were super athletic *in a one direction ala north south, but football is played east and west too. Taylor did the same thing as Shemar, he skipped the 3 cone and 20-Yard Shuttle. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taylor_Mays https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vernon_Gholston Its rare but there are clear cases. One rando thought was, put Shemar at NT.....but then the I recalled his weight. If the QB knows a player struggles turning corners, all it takes is two steps left or right and you're finished. For a edge, that ability to "bend" its nearly as important as your hands. It does answer Shemars lack of sacks/stats. -
Reading the Tea Leaves: What Did Morgan Just Tell Us?
Basbear replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes I left out the important part that it happens in 2026, but they need to start one of the plans soon. Campbell at 8, id feel that's not the plan unless Motown came to them and said "I'm retiring". Even tho he's 29, Christ feels like plan D. Hes still fresh snap wise and if Motown misses games, if could happen this year. Followed by a contract extension in the off-season. Think of it like what happened with Shaq this past year, they have been linked to Josh Conerly Jr. Just so happened Shaq forced the plan to start this year. Motown was a iron man until this year, its his knees that are failing now. Just a theory, but Mike Kaye and others have feed into it. -

Same returning line for the first time in almost 10 years….
Basbear replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
It been reported they sent help for remmers numerous times and for whatever reasons- SB pressure, Cam changed play, players believed in rem, etc etc. The help was never sent. DG said it a few times. But also no one can explain why. Panthers were cocky and Favorited, they didn't change anything and didn't plan for RB or TE help against pressure. It wasn't need that whole season- Cam was playing out of this world and nothing could stop him....... but the #2 pick.... Miller was elite and he gave others the rem job too. -
Panthers sign Jaycee Horn to $100 million dollar deal
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes that's a big deal, it does chance my stance some. Still there was no solution for the handling of horn. Cannot pay him top dollar, cannot let him walk, and cannot trade him for enough value. I have the same feels about Icky and BY. -
Panthers Top 15 Paid Players at Position
Basbear replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Watching the draft with a football smart friend and we were still confused with trading up for brooks, then the Dan used the early 3rd on LB wallance.... He turned to me with and said "Dan is drafting from the same era when he was still playing". It hit me like a dump truck..... -

I got a feeling, there is something up with Icky. This is going under-radar, but it needs to be watched with Hawkeyes. My theory is there are a few plans, the main one is to replace Motown with Ickey. Shock the huddle with 3rd or 2nd round LT pick that the group of OL Coaches(fyi there are 3) want as their vision of LT. Icky is better fit and RT are cheaper to pay.
