At this point I’m willing to take a chance on the McDermott coaching tree because, you know, he should’ve been the one to take over after Ron got fired. Imagine him and Beane still being here with the Panthers.

Word. These are the only analytics to focus on.

Because for most of them, they know that the new coach will make them free agents.

Will this franchise ever have an "offense minded" head coach
Manna replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Off-topic but a used car salesman has more success than Rhule =/ -
I agree with a lot of points JStew made, but this is year 3 for Rhule. These are the same mistakes he made during his first year. The team is still making the same mistakes since year one. There has been no noticeable progress since he became head coach, and for that, it lies solely on his shoulders.

Robbie Anderson: Fans shouldn't bring negative energy
Manna replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
The booing must really be hurting him because it validates what he's afraid of telling himself: that he sucks. -
The whole team is that way and it’s a reflection of Rhule.

Matt Rhule Introduced as Carolina Panthers newest head coach
Manna replied to therealmjl's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sounds like a politician giving empty promises. -
"IF" Rhule leaves? Thats power he shouldn't have. Hopefully thats not written into his contract.

Winston playing with fractured vertebraes

This is a huge win for Jameis. Not only will he still be able to play, he'll still rack up stats against this defense because no one will touch him. -
Tally of Everyone Who Believed in Rhule
Manna replied to PantherNation123's topic in Carolina Panthers
keyword: "believed". past tense. I think we all believed in Rhule in the beginning. However we're not in the past anymore. -
We need to stop calling him names like clown because even clowns have a better success rate at what they do than Rhule. there’s only one “real” defense left for Rhule, and that is to see it narcissistically as he does: we’re the problem, not him. We don’t see how things are 1000% working.

Rhule and Snow needs to go together. I don't know who would serve better as interim but anyone other than that narcissist who we have now.

Tally of Everyone Who Believed in Rhule
Manna replied to PantherNation123's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was hopeful but the more I see this team so unprepared week in and week out, I start questioning what it is that they do in "practice" every week. They attend the games on Sundays and just look so lost, in addition to playing with no tenacity whatsoever. We need to hit the reset button and I hope it happens sooner rather than later. -
That's a tough one. If I still lived in Charlotte, I'd rather be in BOFA stadium as an embarrassed Panthers fan than to allow opposing fans to take over.

I believed in Baker. But I was wrong. Also, the OL sucks ass.

Rhule has everyone playing scared, Mayfield included.
