If we have to defend him so much it means that he aint it. I was a Cam "hater" because I was still stuck on Delhomme, but once that Arizona game happened I knew Cam was it. That moment hasn't happed for me with Bryce.

Clausen wore 7 in college unless you were talking about Cam who did wear #2 in college. I have nothing against what Clausen attempted or him personally/ as a player. He did his best and was accountable.

I rather have Brown and Luvu (trade Chinn if we can’t use him right) than one Burns who handicaps the rest of the defensive core.

Burns may be our best player but he doesn’t make impactful plays. Yes he gets sacks but when we need sacks he consistently is quiet. He has the stats but maybe he’ll develop to become a consistent disruption like what happened to Charles Johnson (dude became great after becoming “big money” before the patriots leg whipped him). Pay burns unless it interferes with our ability to pay Brown and Luvu down the road.

Like what the QB school guy always says, Chuba really took one for the team and got blasted in pass protection yesterday. Guy has earned more of my respect.

He has improved every game and today I definitely felt hopeful every time he had the ball in his hands.
