  1. https://www.panthers.com/news/notebook-bryce-young-is-running-my-own-race You can like and cheer for both players. Hell they are friends and cheer for each other.
  2. That’s what he is saying. The Texans OC is legit. Ours isn’t allowed to call plays.
  3. How is this a foot in mouth? Basically said IF the test reflects QB play this year then the S2 would become a major draft component. It didn’t so it won’t.
  4. Agreed. More importantly @TheSpecialJuan is back!!
  5. I agree the offense needs to push the ball downfield more but a lot of that is play calling as well. What kind of physical tools are you wanting to see? I mean he isn’t going throw a rocket like AR, but keeping plays alive and making the right reads are going to be where he needs to shine and has shown he can do it a couple plays. We just need more consistency in Young, our running game, our OL, hell pretty much our entire offense.
  6. I’m all for the wait and see approach. The positioning any analyst that doesn’t agree with a certain viewpoint in a negative light seems just lazy IMO.
  7. https://atozsports.com/.amp/carolina/cam-newton-sets-the-record-straight-regarding-bryce-youngs-lack-of-success-carolina-panthers-nfl-podcasts/ Cam Newton also a Tepper PR guy?
  8. Hey @TheSpecialJuan is back!! Tell everyone! Spread the news!
  9. That happens all the time. Nepotism is alive and well throughout the NFL and America in general. As much as I want to complain about it, I would probably be looking out for my family as well if I owner a billion dollar company.
  10. True story, we have 0 wins since Juan was banned. Just something to think about...
  11. That was Matt Rhule's wife I believe. She watching him play in college and wanted us to draft him.
  12. No one is arguing any of that. She is direct family to the sole owner to the Panthers. She holds a high position in the Tepper Sports and Entertainment Group as well. This is not uncommon except it is usually father/son which no one seems to have a problem with.
  13. I mean her husband bought the team and gave her a high position not only in his Sports Group, but the team itself. She clearly wants to be involved and learn the business. Her being unqualified to have her position is nothing out of the ordinary in the NFL. Family members get high jobs regularly it's just usually father/sons. I have no argument for her OR Tepper traveling to pro days as that was unordinary. She is definitely catching extra heat on here from the good ole boys though that she wouldn't be if she was Tepper's son.
  14. Calling out dumb comments isn't "white knighting" lol. I feel like "white knighting" is becoming the new "woke." Anyway this thread is pretty derailed and probably heading to the ole TB before long....
  15. You are bringing back full circle. Family members getting positions is nothing new. Going to pro days and influencing the HC and GM is not normal.
  16. Waldo stop trying to be one of the bros. You are better than that.
  17. She has a position with Tepper's Sports Group and has a position on the team. Trying to down talk it because she is a woman is nonsense. She will have input on the franchise as many other staff members will. However, going to the pro days and having input on football decisions should be left to the GM and HC not Nicole OR David.
  18. @frankw comments like this is where those claims were coming from, but yeah let's act like it's an overreaction.
  19. Simplified version for those who need it. Nicole having a position in her family's business is not that big of a deal. Nicole AND Dave going to pro days and influencing football decisions is concerning and not a good look.
