  1. LOL. One said "I hope Rhule does good this year and Sam could be a decent backup." That was all she wrote.....
  2. TMJ issues have been injuries. I think he can be a good WR if he can stay healthy. Plus our whole offense imploded after a couple games last year. Again no one is jumping to conclusions just impressed with his first outing. Moving around against backup NFL players in still impressive vs D2 college players. He still has a long way to go (as stated his coach did pull him for not throwing enough).
  3. DJ is a class act. Glad we have him secured for the next few years.
  4. I don't think anyone is saying that. I think some people are just impressed he looked pretty decent in his first action considering how raw of a player he is. He also showed he can be somewhat elusive at this level that is wasn't just him running over D2 players. Vrabel seems to be doing the right thing. He wants him to grow as a passer so he pulled him for not passing enough. I like it. Honestly there isn't going to be any winner or loser in this debate anyway. It all will come down to if their staff can develop him properly. I seriously doubt ours could.
  5. Honestly his running is like a Cam Lite. Strong runner that can run through arm tackles and quick enough to escape trouble.
  6. Exactly. If nothing else Willis looked much better than a 3rd round rookie who needs to sit. I’m curious to see how Corral and Howell do this weekend. I know it’s crazy early, but there is a chance this draft class got overlooked…
  7. He isn’t Vick or Lamar, but he looks every bit as good as Hurts running the ball. These are NFL players in his first start and he was running away from them and running over some in his way. He also has a stronger arm than Hurts. If he can learn the system/progressions he can be a solid starting QB in this league.
  8. It started on a troll social media account. It's satire I believe.... Just roll with Jacoby since Kaepernick hasn't played in like a decade.
  9. https://steelersnow.com/steelers-camp-takeaways-kenny-pickett-flashes-george-pickens-dominates/ Looks like he is starting to warm up. Look at those lil hands clutching that ball! Pickens will be a stud if he stays healthy IMO. He battled some injuries at UGA.
  10. He is a lion and wants his bloody meat damn it!!
  11. Telling someone they must believe one thing because they disagree with an opinion is trying to put them in a corner. People can be ok with Baker starting over Corral and not be trying to "constantly defend Rhule." Thanks for the forum update though....
  12. That’s it. We can be ok with Baker starting until Corral is ready without supporting Rhule. People that try to force you in a corner usually don’t have much of an argument…
  13. People need to realize Baker is still on his rookie contract. So in 4 years with 3 different offenses/coaching staffs he had a great rookie year, turnover filled sophomore year, great 3rd year, and injured 4th year. There is still a decent amount of potential there and a small history with some success.
  14. It’s just odd to see that happen in TC no matter who the person is.
  15. We have never been good at salary cap management unfortunately….

  17. In summary Baker is terrible (because no one wanted him), but he is going to play too good and ruin our draft position. We also can't extend him to a contract (even though he sucks) because our cap is terrible. Our model should have been the "Tank for Trevor" one the Jags did and you would have also spent "triple" the amount of money they did on FAs, but they overspent in your opinion and are over the cap next year. -Got it. Makes complete sense.
  18. They had no choice but to overpay because they are a small market historically bad team. The only way good players are going there is for more money than they would get at other places. You do realize that is how it works right? It's why Stafford and Russ didn't want to come here. Use that UNC grad degree for some logic and reason.
  19. That's the exact reason why no one can really complain. He is an average QB with some potential still that we got for dirt cheap. The no ties to him next year makes it a no brainer to me. I'm not thinking he is our franchise savior, but I'm just hoping he makes the offense watchable again.
  20. Cap space??? Whatever shall we do??? Cap is very fluid and pivoting the argument towards how we are handling our cap space vs how terrible Baker is, is a nice deflection. We are towards the top this year with rollover cap. Next year looks terrible, but check out the Jags only one spot higher than us with a QB on the rookie scale. You said you would have spent MORE money if you ran that team right??? Then in 2024 we are back in the upper middle of the salary cap. I am curious how you are going to TRIPLE the amount of money for the Jags to build a team around Trevor when they have $7.5 million (less then we do) this year and are already over the cap next year?? https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space
