  1. Look at the happiness in his eyes. He looks like he just found his next piece of celery to devour!
  2. Franklin is more SS, Robinson is more FS IMO, but year Franklin looks to be better overall.
  3. Honestly I haven’t wanted him since the allegations. Only if you know for certain it was a hit job, which seems very much unlikely. I’d rather roll with Darnold at this point, he seems to have the team behind him.
  4. I think they went with Darnold because it didn’t cost them a top 10 pick like Fields would have. Plus there was no guarantee Fields was going to fall to us before we traded for Darnold. Fields rookie contract would have been nice for our salary cap for the next 4 years though…
  5. Cam changed our franchise for almost a decade.? Check out all of those back to back winning seasons… You need a team around the QB as well, in which we failed Cam. First thing the Chargers did is try to beef up their line, because they know it starts there after you have your guy.
  6. Agreed. We have WAY more invested in Horn and would try to coach him into keeping a level head. An undrafted rookie better be on his best behavior…
  7. I would imagine he would be playing for the Colts. Already knows the offense/staff.
  8. Yep. Hopefully they both will play great and everyone will be happy.
  9. True and valid points. You would probably have to factor what we could have got for the future 2nd and 4th in acquiring Darnold to be completely fair, but it wouldn’t be anything close to Horn’s potential.
  10. Had it been DJ Moore or CMC getting injured would we have the same reaction?
  11. Both of their contracts would be due soon. Also it would be harder to trust Little with only one good season…
  12. I believe his assumption was they both won the job and are playing well. It would solve our tackle issues for years to come.
  13. Marshall is a legit TD catching WR. Looks like he is the real deal with routes, hands, and size/speed. Samuel was a great athlete who played WR/RB in college. Basically a shifty/fast playmaker that OSU just wanted to get the ball in his hands. Both have a good ceiling, but Marshall has a higher floor IMO.
  14. Exactly. Health is the only concern. If he stays healthy he and DJ are the future for us at the WR position. If Shi Smith can develop in the slot we are going to have an awesome offense!
  15. I would think it’s some what expected with a young QB in a new offense. Hell Brady looked rough early in Tampa (relatively speaking). He started off with a QBR of 40.3 against the Saints in week 1, 44 against us in Week 2.
  16. What works for one scheme doesn’t work for another. Plus he has yet to play a snap of an actual game, so let’s see how he does at LT. They will try to make it work because of where he was drafted, but there has been plenty of times teams have to slide young players inside were they are better suited. I’m not trying to talk down on the man either, just saying how some teams evaluated him.
  17. Yep several teams viewed Slater as a great guard, and good RT that couldn’t play LT on the NFL. We might be one of those teams. Had we drafted him and played him at guard (his best position in the NFL) with pick 8, fans would be flipping out.
