I agree with you on the 2015 NFC championship game. The little Panther towels that were given to Panther fans upon entering the stadium were awesome…I still look at mine and dream about using it again someday. The smug look on the Cardinal fans seated next to my wife and I quickly disappeared as the game progressed, and they were pretty quiet. The stadium was rocking that night, it will be again if we field a similar team. Panther Fans will come out of the woodwork.

Panthers-Charlotte current stadium agreement ends.

Three fourth of the owners have to approve a relocation. An astute owner knows he has the votes before he attempts a move. -
Anyone who writes New Orleans off too early this year may be surprised. Carr is playing where he may succeed. With Michael Thomas and Chris Olive he has 2 very good receivers. They drafted A.T. Perry from Wake Forest who may surprise. I am not convinced the NFL South will be the weakest division in the NFL as some are. Atlanta may surprise.

Wish it was Kiper. -
I may be in the minority, but I wonder if part of Henderson’s issue is effort. It actually looked to me last year that when he was beat on a play he gave up. I know he has Sometimes the players have issues in life that have nothing to do with football. At some point with C.J. Henderson you have to ask if he loves football enough to improve his focus, or is it truly a skill set issue. This year will be his “prove it” year for sure.

I don’t post that often, but I see your point.

That is really what the post says. Sorry it was not as succinct as you would like.

Has anyone heard any credible rumors as to what the new name will be for the Panthers Stadium? I wonder if Bank of America will just renew.

Young is officially the starting QB.

I agree completely I may be in the minority, but I suspect Reich suggested to Corral to use the next year to grow and learn. If traded to another team he would be a project for that team as well. It is possible Dalton may move on after this year. Last year was a lost year for Corral for several reasons. -
This group may be similar to the 2015/group, never can tell. I remember the NFL Championship game against the Cardinals. Greg Olsen had 113 yards receiving as did Corey Brown. (Corey who?) Ted Ginn had 53 yards receiving. I will take one of those years. Someone will emerge.

I know he does not have the size, but he may be called on to play emergency cornerback.

I had similar thoughts about Blackshear.

Unfortunately Horn and Jackson have had medical injuries which preclude them from being available. This is an area which opposing teams will exploit readily as we know. I am in full agreement with others who are concerned about our CB depth.

Not expecting anything from Henderson or Taylor based on what we have seen. I would have cut Henderson already.

I hope so, all PAC 12! That would be the find of the draft.

One of the positions that I consider a big question for the Panthers is cornerback. Has anyone watched Rejzohn Wright enough to form an opinion on him? He as signed as an undrafted free agent and was all PAC 12 first team. It would be great if he was a find.

If Corral gets any reps at all it will be interesting. I know every quarterback should like the chance to start somewhere at one point in their career. Dalton will not be in Carolina long term. If Corral proves he could be a reliable back up there are a lot worse things than being a back up in the NFL. Even at minimum pay that beats anything he could hope to do in the corporate world. -
Potential $1.2B Panthers stadium renovation discussion
Stuart Smith replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
In theory the restaurant, hotel, and stores are benefitting by the tourist visits. That’s how these projects get sold, the total economic impact to the area. I do not disagree about the owner should pay more since his business is appreciating. -
As you said, he was much improved. I hope he and Blackshear get some opportunities this year.
