I feel sure players have to produce some form of proof of vaccination to their teams, similar to what every employer requires. If Green Bay Front Office was complicit or negligent in this they should be fined and lose draft picks. If Rodgers forged them he should be suspended.

I am excited because we have apparently found someone who is an accurate field goal kicker. With a low scoring offense that is critical.

We are pretty much stuck with McCaffrey’s contract. He can be an asset when healthy. I have heard Rhule talk about what a competitor he is, how he wants to be in every down. Rhule is the coach, he needs to make it clear to McCaffrey he is going to share the load in the future. Derrick Henry is another example as great as he is, but now Tennesse is now in the same boat. No running back in todays game can take the hits they take and be an every down back for long no matter how good they are.

Sam did play well today. I know he was in an impossible situation with the Jets. I am not sure how much ability he has. If we fix the offensive line we can more accurately determine his ceiling. I also think an effort was made last week by coaches to work on his game. The play calling today was much better. I do think he has potential whether it is a starter in the NFL or a backup.

I know Sam is not highly regarded by many. However, I would like to see him have two things. I would like to see him with a quality quarterback coach, not sure about the one we have. I would also like to see him have the time to throw behind an offensive line similar to what Tom Brady currently has. Matt Ryan threw 2 interceptions today because of pressure. Pat Mahomes is an example this year.

Chuba Hubbard fumble leading to At anta field goal, touchdown D.J. Moore could not hold on to. Big difference makers. We know Darnold is not Tom Brady, but this is not on him. -
One thing that I have not heard mentioned regarding attendance by Panther fans is the age of the PSL owners. Purchasers of PSL’s in the first few years who were in their 30’s and 40’s are now in their 60’s or possibly older. Priorities change as we age and time with family and grandchildren on the weekend often take center stage. Add to that the fact that there were some bruised ego’s ( and rightfully so) when long time holders of PSL’s had their seats ripped out and seating locations changed. Fan loyalty suffered as a result. Some PSL owners were already driving 100 miles or more to attend games. The performance by the Panthers this year has led many of the faithful to question their loyalty.

It’s not just Brady. Quarterback coach with him. -
is darnold worse than teddy was?
Stuart Smith replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
When coaches are discussed I think the quarterback coach needs to be in the conversation. Sean Ryan has coaching stints at the New York Giants, Detroit Lions, and Texas. Is he the coach we need for Sam? I have to ask, never hear it mentioned. -

As bad as Darnold has been today this is more on the receivers. -

If Chuba can’t learn to catch the ball he is not long term replacement for McCaffrey. -

Let Rhule’s wife run the draft. Chubb’s Hubbard looks o.k. -
I was a Vikings fan before we had the Panthers. I can feel the anguish, 4 trips to the super bowl without a ring. Minnesota unfortunately had their best teams, but had to play the Steelers and Oakland teams in their glory years.

If nothing else the current situation on the O.L. Reminds us all how important it is to hit on draft picks, especially in the 1st and 2nd round. It is a shame that we missed on Greg Little.

After being upset as everyone else I have a question going forward. I feel Christensen may need some work in the weight room, but did he show enough to possibly be a starter? It looked like the push Philly had came from between the tackles.

I am sure we have been exposed.

Anyone else got a bad feeling about this Eagles game?
Stuart Smith replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t feel as confident as some. I worry about overconfidence. Our OL will have at least one different face, I hope we got a positive performance from Christensen, that would be huge. I do have concerns about Sam getting hurt. -
The current kicker for Stanford is from Western Alamance High School here in NC as well. He went to Stanford because his dad went there. He was kicking 45 yard field goals in high school. He kicked a field goal and 4 PAT’s in the 27-24 win over Oregon Saturday. He is only a sophomore. Would love to have him as well.

It’s Official….Sam D was worth the trade.
Stuart Smith replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Anyone blaming today’s loss on Sam must not have watched the super bowl. Pat Mahomes looked rough without an O.L. Without 2 rushing t.d.’s from Darnold we would not be in this game. How soon we forget. -
Here are your OL Free Agents after this season

I wonder why we haven’t seen the Rookies even for a few plays, I wonder if there is a problem learning the play calls or they don’t appear ready physically. With the play of this line I have to wonder how much worse it could be. -
