I don’t have a problem with checkdowns if they’re the best or only option. Problem with Teddy is he would opt foe the checkdown even when he had time and options down field.

Good post. We're concerned about the OL but also encouraged that Darnold will have plenty of weapons to throw to down field and the best checkdown option in the NFL - Christian McCaffrey.

She was really good, why couldn't ESPN hire her to replace David Newton?!

Line is -5 Panthers, I think we cover - 24 - 17 Darnold tosses 2 touchdowns, throws for 250 yards. CMC has 150 total yards from scrimmage Panthers defense dominates early, lets them come back a bit in garbage time. Wilson is sacked 5 times, intercepted once.

ESPN Analytics' simulation. You're not gonna like it...maybe

It’s an irrelevant statement. We’re in the second year of our rebuild, that’s a fact. -

No it wouldn’t, as long as we go 8-9 or 9-8 and Darnold improves a lot as the season goes on then it’s something solid to build on and expect the playoffs next year. I would take that -
One thing that worries me us they have plenty of tape of our offense and defense and what Brady and Snow like to run in certain situations. I don’t think think we know anything about their playbook except for their personnel limitations. We should still win comfortably. I think we win 24-10.

Great to see someone believing in what Rhule is building here. Playoffs in just the second season, I will take it! -

Prior to last year, Josh Allen looked like a bust, but he made a significant jump and was an MVP candidate. -

I think panicky footwork and decision making are directly related. If he can remain calm in the pocket and not panic, then his decision making will also improve. -

That was always my biggest concern with Cam and Rivera. Cam never showed a commitment to change until it was too late due to injuries and Rivera never had a commitment to help him get better because....it's Rivera. -

There will be moments this season where Darnold will have setbacks as he tries to move on from bad habits, just like we saw in the preseason game. However, one thing we can be sure of is that Rhule and Ryan will emphasize learning from each game and showing consistent improvement every week. -
My buddy is interviewing CMC tomorrow. Wants questions.

Does he see his dual threat role changing as a result of all the receiving weapons?
