  1. Funny how Tepper was so frequently on the public eye during that period and into 2020, and then just vanished when it became clear the emperor had no clothes.
  2. The 2001 team invented new and interesting ways to lose. This time, and 2010, you knew just had no shot from the start.
  3. This trainwreck was so obvious from the start. Dude had zero pedigree/valid experience and blew hot air from day one. Good luck to him but damn was this a VERY avoidable waste of 3 years.
  4. That was truly one of the dumbest contracts in NFL coaching history. Tepper deserves this.
  5. Rhule needs to go but the time to do it was the end of last season and Tepper needs to just wallow in the stench. I don't know what it achieves to fire the HC in week 6.
  6. Just when I think I've seen the dumbest playcall possible, the Panthers deliver again.
  7. Ignoring the geography aspect, there's no way the talent pool would support more teams.
  8. He didn't specify which team's players though. Entirely possible that just inspires the competition.
  9. I'm not really arguing that point but YGM was drafted by Rhule/Hurney in 2020.
  10. It's pretty even overall. They beat him as Texans OC in 2011, Washington OC in 2012, Cleveland OC in 2014, Atl OC in 2015, and SF HC in 2017. But he has more recently in 2016 and 2019. Won't matter now of course, as Rhule blows.
  11. Run them across the middle and leak someone into a zone right in the middle, assuming it wasn't batted down. Not complicated but we get... that.
  12. 2010 was hands-down worse, just zero hope of winning. I'll entertain this offense being 2nd worst ever though, as the team in 2001 was at least competitive and just invented fun and inventive ways to lose.
  13. I don't recall ever seeing a QB get batted down like Baker this year. It's almost surreal.
  14. Brees lost his arm around 2013/2014 and they didn't have the oomph to capitalize in the playoffs after that point IMO in large part, though hardly exclusively, due to that reason. As much as I dislike Payton I'd be curious to see what he could do with a mid-tier QB that can put it over the top and a decent defense.
  15. "He's so good, I always hope he's going to break something open and pad the stats I like to cherry-pick when defending me and my staff during these press conferences."
  16. Foreman isn't all that good and never has been. Had a decent stretch last year when Tennessee was firing on all cylinders but he's hardly the only player in the NFL to randomly look good for a brief period. Some folks' expectations are/were wayyyy too high when he signed here.
  17. Yeah, no. We were not 'all' feeling Rhule and Darnold... plenty saw through the mirage. That said, this play is pretty funny.
  18. Yup, against those powerhouses in Cleveland and New York. Very encouraging.
