Jesus... I'm happy DB didn't suffer a gruesome injury on that play. Very fugin dirty by the guy going low on DB. Like seriously, why is the lineman doing that when he is behind DB? Edit: The guy is also lucky he didn't paralyze himself trying to do a cut block like that- 151 replies

Where is this dude taking video? Behind a fence on the outside of the stadium? -

Pretty sure our D was so bad last year we were like 50th overall, behind 8 CFL teams and 10 college football teams. -
possible ILB just became available

Looks like we have gone from getting all of Evero's scraps from when he was in Denver to getting all of the Vikings scraps... -
Hope Lewis is healthy and ready to go by week 1

Evero?!?! Should he be on the Hot Seat

3-4 is heavily dependent on a good NT and good ends to eat blocks to let the LBs do their job while also being able to be creative on run blitzes. Last year, we had nothing but JAGs in the front 7 due to injury. Hopefully the dline should be much better at eating up blocks this year and helping to stop the run. And I'm pretty sure we still run a lot of nickel despite having a "3-4" defense. -

Hopefully these judgements aren't being made because the backups looked bad in a preseason game that most coordinators are calling vanilla plays in. That being said... If we look as bad the first half of this season as last year, fire him at the midway point -
It was probably a 50 in the 1st q and a 95 in the 2nd/3rd quarter against the 3rd stringers (who are more like 4th stringers for most other teams)

Yikes at those LB grades

Never heard of any of these dudes except smith-wade

Panthers playbook Cox and Rhea review of the game

Less concerned about tets drops, more concerned if he can create separation against the press from physical corners (especially if they have size). Same concern I had since the start of the 2025 year. I think we might need to have him be in motion often to help negate press coverages he will likely face -
I guess. Definitely won't get a read on the backup linemens ability to run block in the game... Granted, most of them are probably camp fodder
-
Why have we called so many pass plays?
-
Would you honestly want that drama on our team? He's a career backup at best. Guarantee you the dude throws a poo fit if he isn't starting week 1 for the browns
-
You can still get film even if he sucks. See if the WRs are running good routes, is the oline blocking correctly, etc. Honestly, if we trade for a QB, I would still love jameis as a backup. Dude is peak boom or bust
-
I get what you are saying, but if Bryce gets hurt or reverts back to his rookie year, there isn't any back up saving this team. We had way too many holes on this roster to focus on drafting backup qbs
-
Did he score against any of our D starters?
-
I get you, but he at least knows the system and has looked solid for us the previous 2 years. Inexcusable how bad he has been tonight though
-
Wonder if we can trade Dalton for a washing machine
-
Haven't had a chance to watch. How have our starters and primary backups looked?
-
Cherelus down. We need to be talking about LBs even more

Don't worry. Rumor is Bobby Boucher is available to sign -
Not his fault he has played for 2 dysfunctional franchises for his career with poor QB play for most of his years in the league.
-
Gotta be honest... That 2023 WR room might be the worst I have ever seen for any team. Outside of Thielen (a fringe #2, likely #3 WR for most teams), there was nothing but a bunch of JAGs to throw to. Still amazed that Dalton had that crazy good game against Seattle that year.

If running to pass really works we got market cornered!!!

We are going back to the future and bringing back 50s style football! -
On one hand, I agree. On the other hand, our mascot is a black cat and we seem to have the worst injury luck just about every year.
