Last year was much more inexcusable. I'm not surprised we are having defensive breakdowns when we have defensive liabilities at half of our defense positions (orlov, ghost, Morrow) and are having to play slavin and burns like 30ish minutes in these games. This series was definitely over once Chatty couldn't play (and probably would have still been even if he was 100% healthy)

The issue with game one was that Florida I think had three legit scoring chances the first 30 minutes of the game and scored on all three of them. I thought we were much better the first half of the game and Bob just robbed us.

Refs really do just cherry pick random penalties they want to call. Call minor poo then miss blatant penalties

It's pretty wild when I looked at his stats when he came to us in the trade. Most of his stats were very good and the one thing that was awful was his finishing - it was like in the bottom 1%. Glad to see regression to the mean is happening and that he is actually scoring. 100% agree this dude should be with us long-term. I definitely didn't like the trade because I didn't think he was that good and I'm happily eating crew

Aahh, ok. I knew he skated a bit slow in games four and five against Washington. Such a crushing injury for us. I think that's who most irreplaceable players for this year's team are slavin and chatty
