We’d be giving up WAY too much for a QB that hasn’t played in a year or so. Yes, I’d love to have Watson as our franchise QB but we’re talking multiple first round picks and young talent from our defense that would set us back years from addressing other important needs on the roster. I’m hoping cooler heads will prevail to keep Tepper from pushing this franchise further down the abyss of irrelevance. Besides teams like Seattle, Philly or Tampa have the upper hand in draft capital and or talent that may be more enticing for a QB in his prime IMO.

Welp, doest look like we qualify for Deshaun.

I’m thinking Philly, Pittsburgh, Seattle or Tampa. Eagles and Seahawks have the draft capital to meet the Texans’ trade demands; Steelers and Bucs have the roster talent. I’d be truly shocked if we were in the running. -

See what you did there -
I’ve never understood this either. It’s pretty obvious he’s better closer to LOS as a run stopper, covering TE’s and occasional blitzing. Maybe the emergence of Kenny Robinson will force Rhule and co to wise up.

CBS Sports: What the Panthers need to do

This one is rather lengthy but you get an idea of his organization and communication. There are other vids out there e.g. pre-game and post game during his time with the Browns and Bears. -

Yup imagine if the Ravens had passed up on Harbaugh - a career ST coach - for a bigger name. Eberflus has put quite a staff together in Chi-town. -

I get your point. I’m just speculating but Tepper has been eerily silent through this mess. Maybe he’s trying to take more of a hands-off to give Rhule space to right the ship but who knows. And I meant “curve”. -

This . I listened to an interview from his one-game stint as interim with the Bears. He did a great job that one game and really sounded like a HC who knows his stuff. Somewhat surprised the Bears didn’t give him an opportunity to take the helm. I’d definitely give him a look before McAdoo. -

This makes a lot of sense. I’ve got a feeling Tepper is already ahead of the curb on this. -
2nd home loss against what should’ve been an inferior opponent. Hadn’t lost to the Pistons since 2017. This one ‘stings’.

Bouknight ejected from courtside seats at UConn game

Agreed. This is looking like Monk 2.0 with this kid. I wasn’t too high on him and actually though Duarte would’ve been a better player for us. I hope Bouknight gets it together soon. -
In a trade down, yes. A reach at 6.

It appears the dude he was with was the main instigator. He seemed surprised he was tossed. In any case, this incident and the confrontation with Barrego indicates he does have some maturity issues, which is typical for young men his age. I know from experience. -

His dismissal was a head scratcher. The DL problems stopping the run seem to be the result of wear and tear during games than coaching. An inept offense will do that to a defense. I think Rhule “scapegoated” another young, promising coach.
-
Nope. You can say the same for the other defectors. Makes you wonder huh?
-
Probably not. Arnold certainly would have helped. The poor OL may have factored in also, as we needed the TE’s to be less of a factor in the passing game to help with blocking. Hoping these staff changes will yield better results on the field.
