  1. That's what I was thinking, as well. I still believe we should throw out an offer for Stroud, if Chicago doesn't bite, move on. No need to give up too much when there are other QBs flying under the radar whom we can get on day-2. Stay at #9, trade back if necessary, if not, then I was leaning towards Johnson or Addison. Jake Haener or Duggan are two QBs looking like potential steals ATM on day-2.
  2. A lot of buzz about Jake Haener recently. Could be a guy we snag in the 2nd, allowing us to go elsewhere in the 1st. Maybe WR, TE or DE.
  3. I would go with the team that pays me the most, rather than a team that MIGHT get me a SB ring.
  4. And he might actually play decent if he wants to get paid again.
  5. Young? Who actually thinks a 6'0 Alabama QB will make it in the NFL? It will most likely be Levis. But a name to keep an eye on should be Clayton Tune from Houston. A possible mid-round player.
  6. Both the Bucs & Saints will stack the box and force us to beat them through the air, and we're almost last in passing yards, while the Bucs & Saints are some of the best in terms of pass D. I guess I'll admit, it's not a crazy idea to think it's not possible, but it's very unlikely that we make the playoffs.
  7. We're 1-5 on the road, playing against two teams who are also fighting for that NFC South title and playoff spot. I'm just not seeing it. But hey, you're a glass half full kind of guy, I get it.
  8. You're deluded if you think we're making the playoffs. And if by miracle we did, we're just going to get our asses kicked in the 1st round.
  9. And some of y'all were actually thinking playoffs. LMFAO!!!
  10. Horrible idea. He's 3-4 as our HC, and 6-17 as a HC in total. Our three wins came against a terrible team and two bad teams, all under .500, and with a combined record of 13-22. Yeah, I'm good.
  11. Our season is done. We could play PS players on defense, and it wouldn't make a difference. A loss is a loss. Even next season, we probably won't be very good. And then Burns becomes a FA in 2024. Someone will probably offer him more money than us. Or we do pay him, then he gets lazy. A lot of speculation, but I think trading him for two future first round picks for a guy that may not even be here in 2024 is a good decision.
  12. I don't understand. If the league is transitioning to young, offensive-minded coaches, then shouldn't we do the same? The time of having an old guy coaching has expired. It's adapt or die. Wilks has done well, I'll admit, but he had his chance as a HC, and he failed. But keep him as the DC.
  13. Essentially, to make the playoffs, we need to beat a bunch of average to below average teams. And then what? Get destroyed in the wildcard game against an actual decent team? Unless PJ Walker is about to start a career that will later be made into a movie, I just don't see it. And I find it incredibly stupid to mess with our top draft spot just so we can win the NFC South, which is the equivalent of winning the Special Olympics.
  14. So we should give up the possibility of drafting a franchise QB, for the CHANCE of winning our division and making the playoffs? Nah, I'm good.
  15. Personally, not a fan. Those 'buddy coaches' rarely do well as a HC. They're too bias and more concerned about being friends with the players rather than their boss. Plus, I think going with an offensive mind would be more ideal. A young, offensive minded guy who will be professional and keep it strictly business. Just my two cents.
  16. This better be happening tomorrow morning with Rhule...
  17. Bootyhole Bootyhole Bootyhole
  18. A bit of a stretch, but if Rivera is fired, there's no chance he gets another HCing job, so he'll most likely go back to a DC. What are the chances, if we cleaned house, we get Rivera to coach defense?
