If the Bills don't re-sign Case Keenum, I like the idea of him the best. I wouldn't mind Andy Dalton either. Both guys probably realize if they want to stay in the League, a backup gig is the likely role. Both are former starters that had some success.

I like Minshew as a Taylor Heinicke type of reliable backup, but does he have the mentoring/knowledge to bring along a rookie?

Another question is if we choose to bring the rookie along slowly, who would you sign to at least start the season? That is a real possibility, so let's talk about the elephant in the room. Let's not pretend it's a 100% given said rookie QB takes the first snap of opening day.

Gotta come out of this draft with a top WR. If we trade back for more picks, two WRs. Shi Smith is a #4 at best. Marshall is too inconsistent. I like Shenault as a #3. We need a legit rookie that can come in and play opposite of Moore. Targeting a WR with that second pick in the second round, no later than the 3rd round. Rashee Rice, A.T. Perry, Jalin Hyatt, Jacob Cowing or Xavier Hutchinson.

I want Walker to play, but I think he may not be 100% yet. So I would say Darnold. Baker needs to hold a clipboard the rest of the year. I have seen enough. We really don't need to give a 4th rounder either.

Nope. Kid makes bad decisions all the time. He has one of these types of games once in a blue moon. Rattler has a solid arm and can sling it around the field, but that's about the beginning and the end of his traits that would translate to the NFL.

If Richardson goes back to school, there may not be a QB drafted in the second round.

As bad as we need a QB, we need a impact TE just as bad. It's going to hurt when he goes to another team. Our only option is a trade back. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea at all.

True but troting Baker out there knowing he's garbage could cost a later round draft pick. We know what Baker is, and that's not a QB1. Experiment over. Darnold and/or Walker the rest of the season.

If Darnold comes in and doesn't completely suck, I think we know who will be offered the backup QB job next season. Mayfield is horrible.

Baker always is looking for the homerun ball. He doesn't feel pressure either. Put those two together and you have a piss poor QB.

Mayfield should have been benched at halftime. At least Darnold knows where the check downs are.

If we try one more freaking stretch play after all the rest have failed, McAdoo needs to be fired on the spot. The Ravens D is too damn fast.

Value. If by some weird stroke of luck we win a few more games and end up in no-mans land at the back end of the top 10, you just don't draft a QB because you need one. Attempt to move back, then draft a QB, draft another position and have enough ammunition to move back into the end of round 1 if the guys is still there you like.

I've been taking Harrison and Kincaid in simulations as well, although I am not taking a chance of Kincaid not being there in the 3rd, so I take him pick 2b. I think we re-sign Foreman. There is mutual interest. So I have been taking smaller backs in the 4th; Brown, McBride or Corum. Taking a MLB at the top of the 4th and the RB at 4b. Drafting a WR in the 3rd.

Bust Rate Pro Bowl -This is why I want to trade down and take Mayer. Only a 1 in 5 chance of a bust and almost a 1 in 2 chance of being a Pro Bowler.
