successful teams are running it between them

We haven’t been this bad ever. Our record shows it.

still 6-5 as of now and 11-5 last year. poo isn’t going to go perfect but if you think Rhule had little to work with the browns started with like 2 decades worth of Clausen eras. maybe they’ll flop eventually but I would not rank them in the shitpile of nfl teams as of late. -
No ones talking about our next game....

i mean it’s only Tuesday… but honestly i’ve reading about the draft, this team is cooked -

people don’t like to admit it but aside from the very bottom of the NFL shitpile our franchise history since 1995 is eerily similar to middle and top of the shitpile teams (top of the bottom 1/3)….aka Jets now that the browns are coming along I suppose we can always still talk poo about the Texans and Lions it’s sad how the Panthers aspire to be average -
Yes, we need one stud DT and several olineman to be a real contender IMO. Another low cost high reward, raw LB/S wouldn’t hurt either.
-
Not sure you can say he was ‘straight from college’ either. He had decent NFL experience unlike Rhule and Johnson.
-
defensive players will call out other defensive players the offense is almost like an entirely different department it’s not cam come on peeps, cam made a couple mistakes but didn’t lose the game he is talk about DJ and not only is he probably in the ‘club’ but he’s got a bad ego and will prolly lay out a temper tantrum if anyone said anything, but they should
-
perfectly fine resigning gilmore for reasonable deal, horn coming back and continuing work on the Henderson project while letting DJ kick rocks…or better yet rage and trade him for a third if possible draft a DT and olineman…maybe a LB
-
I am going to agree with this. Rhule did not have a lot to work with, including a GM, Hurney doesn’t count. The team has not regressed IMO. But will it stay in place? The question is, will it more forward and can it get over the hump? And then the question is will it be sustained? Problem I have is this whole 5 year plan then turning around and trading valuable rebuilding resources. That said this five year bullshit is a crock of poo. Rhule gets 3 drafts and 3 years to put out a winning team. If we do not have a winning record next year, he needs to go.

We need a DT. Bad.
-
mark my words DJ will be looking for and demand top #1 CB money next year. just watch. CBs paid top money don’t need a coaching scheme to prop them up and certainly shouldn’t be absolutely destroyed like he was because they’re on an island.

10 carries for the best RB in football
onmyown replied to KillaCamNewton's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cam kept a couple he 100% should not have. But I’m sure that’ll be worked out. CMC needs to be used in the downfield passing game so much more as we have all mostly been saying and as we saw on the field today. -
lol all the poo comes from all the dumbasses like you spamming we can win with a great qb for the past 7 weeks when now you’re all butthurt realizing you’re wrong as the Panthers still lose despite great qb play it’s pathetic how some of you analyze football like idiots
-
i don’t have Darnold like expectations for Brown, and the investment has already been spent the point was to reap the most you can out of him, it’d be best to have another DT playmaker
-
Rhule is going to have to pull off at least one win vs a competent team’s starters this year to show some sort of upward trend it has yet to be done

Rivera knows Jackson and just showed the rest of the NFL how to blow him up
-
he really needs someone next to him like KK did, as good as this defense has been it’s missing someone that can collapse the pocket, demand double teams, and shut down any run up the middle and it shows…i feel he’d be much more effective in a tandem
-
True. But what about urgency? The Panthers had to win this. Everyone knew this. Just how much better does cam have to play for us to win? Because honestly it won’t get much better than this. And it certainly won’t get easier except playing the Dolphins.
-
Maybe the defense isn’t as good as we think. After today, I have a feeling other teams are going to exploit it just the same. I’ll urge you to question how many top starting offenses have the defense faced this year? I’ll save you the trouble, the answer is 1. 2 if you include the Cardinals without their starting QB and #1 playmaker. To this point, a exception to the rule was a bad game. A blip. That’s what it was for them. This loss was the rule for the Panthers.

As you hopefully can tell from this thread, that’s the point people aren’t getting.
-
Wow. I overestimated the intelligence of the huddle. That’s on me.

Some of you stans are really dense. You guys take anything as some sort of slight against cam. why? I have been very skeptical of what cam had left in the tank. After today, it’s clear he is a franchise qb still. I can eat crow on that. In fact, I’m leaning towards hoping they sign him for 2-3 years. The point is that all through the Darnold era everything I read on here was all we needed was a qb to contend. And poo on for saying otherwise. The excuse Cam only having one week doesn’t make sense. Because he played borderline elite today. Fact is, he played borderline elite and it still wasn’t enough. Fact is, this team is not a contender with a good even great qb. The energy was there, the effort was there. The ability and play was all there. And yet they lose to a 3-6 Redskins team. Think about it.

Winner. Cam was awesome today.

Actually this thread has been made before. Multiple times.
